Guys quick dial experts wonder here as per below got two dials VSF and CF which one would you say is closer to gen as this is just temporary measure till I get gen dial, thanks guys I trust your knowledge and expertise!

Hi guys, I'm thinking of installing a gen date wheel on my VSF submariner 126610.
Do you know if there is a difference between the date wheel from 116610 and 126610? Or can I pick any of the 2?

3135 and 3235 datewheels are different. Also make sure you don't get the datejust datewheel (K111 serial i think?) as that is too big for the 126610 subs.
These datewheels have gotten a little more rare and harder to find these days. I think VSF dw is fine though! If you're wanting to spend the money a gen crystal and gasket is a better option imo, but still VSF crystal is fantastic.

Yeah the VSF dw is nice, but some numbers bug me a little bit tbh. Some of the 20's especially. That's why I was thinking of replacing it. Not a necessity by any mean, just a passion project. I can't find any for the 126610 at a decent price though. Since I'm in no rush, I'll see if some will pop up in the future.
As for the crystal, I think VSF crystal fantastic indeed. I have a gen and I can't tell the difference in the crystal tbh
