I'm not sure it makes a huge difference, but I've read you are less likely to mess up the keyless if you press the stem release button in the winding position for Rolex 3xxx movements. And in most of the videos I've seen of professionals servicing Rolex movements, you almost always see the movement ticking away...so presumably most pros press the button in the winding position. Personally, I have 3 VS3235s and have removed the stems from all of them in the winding position without issue.

and how do you reinserted the winding stem ? (same position)

Has anyone tried removing the dial from a Rolex 126610 (clean version)? I’m also trying to install a date wheel but unsure how to access it. It appears a lot different to the 116610. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

The dial is ‘pressure’ fitted based on some indentations dial/movement that match up. You need to find an opening to be able to slide in a flat plastic prong or screwdriver (with caution) and slowly twist up.

My VS3235 loses 1 minute per hour, BUT the second hand is only loosing 10 s/d. I checked it, and the second hand is perfectly right, but the minute/hours hand seems not to follow at all. The minute and hourshand are working synchron.

Does anyone ever head an issues like this? The second hand works perfectly fine and accurat, but it seems the minute and hour hand are not moving for a minute (in an hour test).

When you set the time, does the winding crown feel very loose as you turn it? If so, it could be a loose cannon pinion....which could be causing it to slip on the post of the center wheel and thus lose time...even though the watch is properly regulated.

Yes it feels really loose complained to my vs3235 in my sub. (The issue is on my DJ).
Is this a easy fix?

I think it's a fairly easy fix. I had the same issue and my watchmaker charged me $125 to fix. I think the hardest part is getting at the cannon pinion.
Once the cannon pinion is removed, it just needs a gentle squeeze with a pliers (or tap with a staking tool) to reduce its diameter so it can better grip onto the post. See good "how to" video here:
)

Thanks, i also researched a bit and think i'm able to do this, maybe bodge a nail clip to an press tool. You we're really helpful to
identify the issue. Have a nice day mate.

yeah speaking about that.. the vsf 126610 is NOT gen spec on the dial+datewheel bridge+crystal. Its much smaller than the gen 3235 parts.

check out the pics
great find bill33 very helpful!
Actually I got sub 126610LN gen 3235 and I can say that date bridge and date disk on gen 126610Ln is smaller than DJ you can see my photos below of date disk and bridge, also VSF dial or CF dial just slap in there perfectly and seat tide, vsf has correct measurements for 126610LN sub model 41mm, thanks

Also worth to mention RLX on their date bridges do markings on side (C) so looking at yours you do not have that marking, which makes me question on if that date bridge is even gen ?
Look on my photo small letter C on side wall of date bridge.

I can confirm that, in addition to a gen bezel and insert, a genuine dial does fit.
Would you be able to advise where did you get gen dial and how much that costed you ? As I’m trying to find one now for 2 months and no luck, my gen dial is destroyed due the car crash and water damage plus crystal did help to totally destroy hands and dial, so hands I found price is not that bad considering brand new 800$ for gen 126610 hands full set, just need dial
