I may have misunderstood you, I thought you were asking about position of the transition point which does not vary appreciably on a two piece Pepsi insert. You asked about quality and yes, the visible white line at the joint (glue or paint overfill or combination) can be nearly imperceptible or slightly pronounced. It was and probably still is a reason for many QC rejections.

Batman two piece inserts are made differently and don't have the white lines. They get speed bumps instead. Yay.

I have the noob pepsi with the timebomb movement and a gen crystal-it's working perfectly after 8 months now but I'd gladly buy this vrf and canibalise the noob.

Has anyone tried fitting the noob insert on the vrf yet?

A gen crystal and noob insert and this watch would be awesome.

Ahhhhh, ok. I didn't think you misunderstood me. You actually responded to what I was thinking. However, I wasn't aware that the batman and the pepsi had different construction methods. Damn, how'd I miss seeing that somewhere along the way? Anyways, thanks for taking the time to come back and provide more info. I really appreciate it.

To me it’s looks a stunning watch and never has considered a VRF!
But this already have the best available rep movement.
Only thing I rely hope for and very curious about is if it’s possible to put the noob inlay in the bezel without doing without modding.

I think the Noob insert may fit, the VRF LN is pretty thick also like the Noob.

VRF hands are not nearly as good as ARF hands though. We are always having to combine parts from different reps to get one good one.
