Am I wrong, but isn’t the fat lady called fat lady because it’s thicker?

Here are pics of my gen 16710 case thickness compared to a BP 2836 without and then with a slimmer caseback.

It's hard to find info about the thickness of a 16760, the link below lists it as 12.5mm, which I think is a little low based on my 16710 thickness.

Maybe someone with a gen 16760 can post a measurement pic.

Where can i Bay this watchs
You have to source parts and build it (or let it build by a watchsmith, modder)
Actual there are some really great Franken Viet-bases in the M2M section - take a look there ;)

Well I picked up two of these casebacks and they are definitely worth it! The biggest tell on my Viet 16760 build was the thickness. These new case backs shave nearly 0.5 mm off the total thickness putting it very close to the 12mm thickness of a genuine case. Here are some pics showing the difference. Enjoy!

I bought the ebay caseback and I wasnt able to get mine to fit onto my VN 16710 case. Was yours a directly fitment or you had to a bit of modding/shaving? My caseback 29.5mm opener wasnt able to fit onto the caseback teeth too. (Ebay caseback teeth diameter is bigger)

Can you describe how yours goes in?
For my ebay caseback, I can screw it on the case with a few spins by hand but then it stops half way leaving a gap between case and caseback. Not sure if I screw it in further but I dont have the correct case opener to try.
I used a ball of duct tape to screw it on the case, and it screwed right on without issue. It's true that caseback opener tool will not work.

Thanks for the reply, I will try that out later to be sure. However it does feel like it wont screw in nicely. As I screw it in half way I am met with big resistance and it wont budge. Was it the same for you?
With my stock VN caseback, I can get it to screw in flawlessly by hand until it is closed/sealed, then a caseback tool needed for ‘tightening’.

By the way, you can convert a tube hole made for 6020 tube to use 603 / 604 crown using a 6330 tube. The 6330 tube is a conversion tube, and it is highly recommended for Vietnam 16710 / 16570 cases which are made incorrectly to fit 6020 tube (instead of 5320 / 5330 tube).

The 6330 tube is uncommon, but RSC has been using this tube for years so that vintage Rolex cases can use the latest 603/ 604 crowns.
