Please read my replies to trustytime first and don't be so fast to critisize. There is nothing like a "one side story". Thanks
You said in your story the watch arrived DOA. And you sent it to the watch maker. Then you took off the stickers fully. Then you sent it back.

But how come that watch looks beat up and worn? If your story is true then that watch should not have so many scratches.

Buddy. I understand you. I have been through this before.

My Panerai 1055 came broken. I sent it back to China, also to VSF to repair. Do you know how long I waited? You waited 5 weeks I waited 4.5 months for it to be fixed. I didn't complain or demand a refund.

You must understand that this is a illegal replica factory. You expect Amazon levels of service.

Imagine you buy a car. It is broken. The dealer sends your car back to the factory to get it fixed. Does the dealer control how fast the factory gets you your watch? No.

Expecting a chinese watch to survive the shipping process is just a hit or miss.
Sending back is more a miss than a hit.
Andrew tells you in the email you got during the sales process information to not pull off plastics in case of refunding.
Waiting time is also normal.

As @GingerBubba said, maybe replica watches isnt for you.

@kalantz you only see what you want to see.
Andrew told you "if you have someone who can fix it I will cover 30 $", he didn't say take it to a watchmaker and open it up to see what's inside.
Then he went the extra mile twice against his own T&Cs offering to refund the shipment back to China AND taking the customs risk despite very clearly stating previously that it's not included in his scope. And you come here slinging mud at him? I see a TD that has gone far and beyond his own T&C's just to appease you. Yet you want more. You want genuine brand's warranty terms despite you mishandling the watch.

Please don't translate the story your way. How could I know if the watch could be repaired for $30 if I didn't visit a repair shop and if it was not opened? I have no such powers. Of course it was a suggestion from his side. Besides I never demanded a watch replacement or refund until very lately when things started going wrong with the ommunication and repair times. There is no point with the photos Andrew uploaded. They don't prove anything. The deal was to send it back for a caliber replacement under warranty. This didn't happpen and the watch is still unrepaired.

If Andrew had any honest intention to replace the watch or issure a refund, he should have immediately replied with this: "Don't remove the wrappings, don't try to fix it or do anything to the watch, just send it back at the condition it was received and I will send new a new one". I think now it is too late to talk about wrappings, scratches, intentions and photos.

And don't forget it arrived DOA. I informed him immediately about the issue. I will always insist on this. I could easily accuse him that he intentionally send me a faulty watch. I don't believe such a case and therefore I did not accuse him. But don't say he went the extra mile. He was oblidged to cover all the costs and the risk as it was not my fault. I paid for a working unit.

You continue seeing only what you want to see. What you write is not what he said. He said "I can cover up to 30$ of the repair". Not, "Repair it for 30$ and I will cover it". There's a difference and if you frequented the forum you would know that's quite a standard proposal from TDs.

Please OP, I was also in kind of your Situation countless years ago. I would like to remind you that for 30USD of work in China you could let assemble about 6 watches.

In the end a lesson is learned by buyer. And to all new buyers and future buyers. Dont remove anything before checking the watch. Trusty has been more than accommodating to fix the situation and has earned the TD title. Now we move on with this lesson. And we always remember its a replica and lower your standards like you do at an all inclusive resort food. And then everyone is happy. Shit happens. Now lets get back to our regular program.

Anything can still happen, even with Trusty's bomb proof packaging which is probably the best of all the TDs. Just gotta keep your fingers crossed the watch will run when it arrives.

I have watches that are almost 30 years old that look a thousand times better then that. Feel sorry for you and all the other TD's that have to deal with people like @kalantz a.k.a Karen (@MaximillianGT thanks for nickname of the leading asshat of the year award).

Please read my replies to trustytime first and don't be so fast to critisize. There is nothing like a "one side story". Thanks
Your whole story is only one sided!!!!. Karen you forgot to mention that you put the watch in a blender before sending it back because you never received like that from Trusty.

Trusty has gone well above after sales care for you and all you did is open a thread to shite on their good name because you have to wait a little to get the watch back. You have been given advice from long standing members, moderators, new members as mentioned above by @Reaps and others.

Think it's time to get off of your mom's boob and branch out into the real world. I know it will be scary at first but you will learn to walk and hopefully it will take less then 6 years. So now step away from whatever device you are using Karen and go take your first steps into the real world.

Regarding this watch sent back to me for service, as much as we would like to perform a refund or exchange of the watch, but the watch was received back with multiple scratches all over, and factory has immediately rejected me on that request. Anyway, I have attached the pics below of the watch received.

So the only thing I can do is to get it checked and serviced, but because this movement is exclusive to VSF only, I have to send it back to factory to get some parts replaced, and this would take some time. However, as promised in my latter emails with kalantz, I will get WS002 done after the watch is fixed and QC-ed.

Thanks

So Mr Karen is a true and honest asshole who sent back a scratched watch. I am now having some doubts about the DoA story...
