"Pictures look good with condition however when under microscope there are flaws which I can't bear to have."

Better not buy a gen Rolex then OP, as even brand new it will be far from measuring up to these fucking crazy expectations. I recommend for you a Lange, or maybe a Patek Grand Complications. Even then you will want to pre inspect.
Sound suitable… I think a Patek Grandmaster Chime would also fulfill these dreams 😂

Thank you for your constructive and meaningful message, even double message. You need your post count higher?

Thank you for your honest opinion!
Yes, I need to get it as high as your ego currently is.

So lets take any item, polish anything you want, then provide good pictures and say its "great" condition.

Yes, it's fairly common amongst people who sell things to say something positive about the item for sale.

Why is it so bad to have people look and give opinion? I believe in inspecting item after receiving.

You didn't inspect it, you sent it to someone else to inspect, and he wasn't sure so he needed a second opinion - and a microscope.

So what you're saying is that I'm supposed to decide based on pictures provided only?

Yes, eBay for example has quite a successful business model, based on this very principal.

We can all take any part, polish where needed and then say its very good condition. Correct?

Opinions are subjective, which is why you shouldn't pay too much attention to them, especially in a sales ad - make up your own mind as to whether the item is in 'great' condition or not.

If the bezel is in "great" condition, why he did not say it was polished?

Did you ask him if it had been polished ?

You are the purchaser, you should know what you want, what is important to you, what is not. Expecting the seller to know what you want is unrealistic.

You made a mistake, you assumed that the bezel would be perfect because that is what you wanted.

Sell the bezel, you'll get your money back from it, then you can buy a new in blister pack bezel. This one here isn't in it's blister pack, but it's in new condition - $4000 US:

Exactly.
And look what that sales post says...."Please refer to the images in the description"

Not to mention, OP will loose his ass if he sells and buys a "new" bezel assembly. Again, he got a fantastic deal here, and is bitching about microscopic images.

did I get it wrong or is it a fact that the OP didn’t even see the bezel insert with his own eyes in RL before starting this whole thing?
Somehow unbelievable… how can one think a used bezel is in mint condition… 🤯

You‘re not “trying to understand“ anything. Your post is just stomping your feet because things didn’t go your way. Nik doesn’t need a couple hundred euros to deceive anyone and he has nothing to hide. Instead of a toxic tantrum and attempted character assassination, you could man-up and apologize for letting your emotions get the best of you and maybe…just maybe, people might accept it and move on and you will have at least a chance of salvaging your reputation. The ball’s in your court. Make it count.

As you can see I am a newbie but I know the rules and customs of the forums and I have noticed that all the complaints for the last 1 or 2 months come from newbies who always find defaults or lies in their purchases on our dear forum! I have personally bought Reps here (by the way I am waiting to receive the Tracking Number of a Rep I bought on Friday) and I have been surprised by the honesty and kindness of the selling members and I thank them deeply!

The post is not about emotions. People coming here and bashing me for what I have to say just shows how people don't understand it. This is a review of a deal with Nik. If you don't like what I'm saying then you can continue with your day and not post shit comments.

Nik never shared his "listing", he only shared pictures, that is all.

What I understood from some honest comments on this post is following:

I am in fault for trusting a person and expecting him to be fully transparent.
Should I have asked him for more details? For sure, however I trusted reputation and reviews and it came out bad experience for me.

LOL

Just stop. He sent you pictures. The bezel is perfectly fine. Anyone would be happy to install that on their rep.
Maybe your in the wrong hobby and you should go get on a waitlist for the gen and get your flawless new bezel.

Nik was transparent and clearly was not trying to hide anything. No one is buying your "he was not fully transparent" bullshit.

Maybe take trips advice. Sell the bezel, and go buy that $4k "mint" one. But make sure you send it to your watchmaker and have it examined with his microscope...then open a dispute with them when your not happy with that one.

I would say: if we don’t like what you write, we can tell that.
And IMO you should seriously overthink your appearance here! It’s not on you to tell anybody here, what he or she is allowed to post or not - just because it doesn’t support your opinion.

when you are lucky enough to find, to buy a crown, a bezel or 1 dial Gen from a member and especially with Nikz19 who is a very respected member here, you can't pay the price of the second hand and receive a brand new spare part, as long as it is "second hand", you must always expect a small defect which is't important because you know well what you bought (used), so the minimum is to thank the seller:
1 - to have sold to a newbie
2 - for helping you to realize your project
The conclusion of this story is that the old members won't sell anything to the newbies anymore and because of your attitude all the newbies will be punished because no one will want to do business with us anymore at the risk of finding themselves in this situation!
My friend, I advise you to swallow your saliva and move on because you were very lucky to find what you were looking for!

Only thing keeping me from doing business with Nikz is a literal ocean. He won me over when he went after MarmaladeDad on reddit (yes calling him that instead of his actual username because I don't need him flooding this.) But also his workbench photos are works of art.
