Very bad experience from Nikz

Nikz while I get you're point, you have never shared the listing, not in PMs nor in WhatsApp. You never gave full information.
I believed in your trustworthy reviews here, and was expecting full transparency but I guess you forgot to mention it yourself, right?
So lets take any item, polish anything you want, then provide good pictures and say its "great" condition.

I didn't need to look at your watchmakers pics to see the bezel has been polished to remove scratches and dings.





I don't really expect you to know what you're looking at, but if you didn't show those pics to your watchmaker before purchasing then that's your mistake.
If your watchmaker needs an electron microscope and a second opinion before he can decide if the bezel ring has been polished then he too doesn't know what he's looking at.



It's a used part, they frequently get polished. If you were told it was new, unused and then received something that's been polished to remove scratches that would be a different story.



He sent you multiple pics to check, from different angles, and in good light. Nothing was hidden from you.

This is how items are sold everyday on sites like eBay - you look at the pics and send payment.

Why is it so bad to have people look and give opinion? I believe in inspecting item after receiving.
So what you're saying is that I'm supposed to decide based on pictures provided only? I feel that's so incorrect.
We can all take any part, polish where needed and then say its very good condition. Correct?

Not disclosing full information to make a sell in my opinion is just wrong.

If I would sell something, polish it and say it's in great condition I would still mention it was polished.

It sucks to not get what you expected, but unless he said brand new bezel, this used one is in great condition considering... If you want to send it back then send it back i guess and buy a brand new gen one to replace yours. that'll be a good amount of money though.

There's questions that you're supposed to ask before purchasing, if you don't know what to ask, don't purchase. You never specified you want an "untouched" used bezel. You asked for a used bezel. You've got to be specific with details when dealing with used parts.

I honestly think you are not only losing your reputation here and everyone will block you, but you also dont acknowledge and foremost dont even see that you are making a. a mistake and b. things worse for yourself.

1. the bezel is in great condition, considering it is used.
2. you needed 2(!!) opinions and a microscope to "see" flaws....for used item?
3. you seem to a very strange view of the world....as almost any object (new) has even flaws under a microscope.
4. i dont know man, but whatever I sell, i clean it to look nice. I mean I sold one of my cars, low mileage, excellent condition...but I still cleaned and polished it to look nice....I dont get your point - should he take pictures of dirty parts?

I see nothing inconsistent against a heavily magnified brand new pearl. If you think these are perfect to a subatomic scale you are totally incorrect. If you think brand new factory rolex parts are flawless under a microscope you are also totally incorrect. He did give full information. It is your post-purchase evaluation that is unreasonable and the sooner you realise this the quicker you will stop digging your own hole.

You are not helping yourself, please stop. You bought a used part in "very good condition". It is. Nik is respected here because of his work and his honesty, there is no secret to becoming "trusted" other than that. Live with it and move on...or don't. I would advise the former but it's your call. in either case, I wish you well.

Well very much, yeah. This is what happens daily when dealing with genuine watches. Buy used- service, light polish and bring it back to “very good conditions”. Not new, not unpolished. That’s called scam.
But very good, yeah. I think there might be some language barrier or something.

Bezel had been bought from my parts supplier, which happens to be the most trustworthy guy I ever met in the business. It’s been untouched by myself- and no, when I buy USED parts i don’t put them under a damn microscope to inspect them. They’re USED.

Think everything’s been said here- Period.

Nik is a standup guy and would never mislead you or not give you sufficient information. Get out of here with your trash.
Maybe you should walk in to an AD and ask for a brand new Hulk Bezel. FYI...I believe those are restricted items and you cannot get a new sealed bezel for that reference.
