Here's my overseas purchased around 2009-2010

The Gen looks much better. The dial of the rep isn't as sharp and there are many elements out of scale (printing, cross, numerals).

Kind of easy to tell. Nonetheless the consensus seems to be that the rep is still a wonderful attempt. I’m curious if any VC lovers in this thread have other VC reps they recommend.

As promised, this is the side by side photo comparison of the genuine and replica versions of the Vacheron Constantin Overseas. To make things a bit interesting, I will not state ahead of time which is the gen and which is the rep. I have however kept the relative position of each of them constant between photos. Enjoy.

In my opinion it is the BPF. I really love mine, eventhough I am well aware that the blue dial is nowhere near as deep and dark blue on certain angles as Gen, but we are talking currently at a 40000 usd/eur difference so the blue should be stunning and out of this world by default

I have been waiting for a 1.1 vacheron overseas XF or BPF 4500v to come onto the market alas haven't yet come across one. After seeing your photos may go for the ultra thin 2000v. Blue dial is my favourite but not sure about it so thinking of getting grey or black Could you please tell me does the bracelet have micro adjustment ta

Sorry, but no, my BPF’s bracelet does not have the micro adjustable links by the clasp. The bracelet’s remivable function does work at least. Still a beautiful watch and a very nice blue in flesh, not as deep as Gen, but beautiful nonetheless.
