After reading through this thread, a common issue people are facing is the clasp getting broken.

V7 Factory IWC Ingenieur V1 broken clasp replacement

I was wearing the watch and when I tried to take it off, I found out that one of the pusher fell out. It's the strangest thing. I don't understand how it happened especially it's on the underside of my wrist. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement pusher or clasp? Thanks much.

This is another thread which may prove to be useful to some of the folks in here. Essentially you can swap out the clasp with an alternative Tissot clasp which members have reported being higher quality and a simple fix. With the clasp being the main flaw of this piece, knowing that you can get a relatively cheap replacement from ali makes this a very attractive piece,.

This was my idea too, the bracelet maybe will not fit my 19,5cm wrist. So a rubber/kevlar strap would be cool! Picture for inspiration:

It was a render made by a company called DeLugs posted 8 weeks ago to Instagram. They said they might make it if there is enough demand.
Unfortunatly they have not produced it as of yet...

So lets all send them an email ([email protected]) stating we want that IWC Ingenieur rubber strap they teased us with

There social media post about the strap for reference.

Seems like i got the old version with the checkered pattern underneath the IWC logo. Not too bothered, everything else looked good and I GL'd.

It isn't the old version. It looks like it has the checkered pattern undernesth but it's actually the metal surrounding the W in "IWC" that you see there. The lighting in the photo makes it look like that. I'd be extremely surprised if any seller had the outdated old version.

I found my aqua V7f to be quite nice and not too different from the gen, however couldn´t compare directly side by side... but of course, it all depends on your personal pickiness level...
