Are we allowed to post QC pics in this thread? I got mine and I'm not really sure about them. The watch has weird stains on it, it looks like dried liquid drops. Can I?

That's how bronze patina sometimes goes. You can clean it off and start it afresh with some ketchup

The most effective way to clean bronze is using a paste made of baking soda + lemon juice

a teaspoon of baking soda and another teaspoon or a quick squeeze of lemon and mix around into a paste.

It cleans the watch instantly giving it an almost gold-like appearance

Patina then can be encouraged using liver of sulphur emulsion to create a dark patina and not green (salt water)

I can tell you all about the strap in about 2 weeks :)

@wilcz : thanks for the tip. Do you think that this method is more effective than ketchup? Because I find the latter a bit disgusting..

Just a little ketchup and the new Tudor shines really new.:laugh::laugh: I wasn't in the mood for detailing. Therefore you might see some more dirty spots.

The KW strap is ok. But nothing you could fall in love with. After all it is a rather cheap copy of a nice quality strap made by TUDOR and you should get rid of it. I have already displaced the strap. Leather rep straps are ruining the fun with a nice watch.

It is not that easy to find a nice 23mm strap. But I was lucky. The colors of the strap are matching with the colors of the Tudor.

I was told last night factory out of stock on nylon strap so I have to just go ahead ship without it.

The strap is delievered with spring bars without tubes. This means a worse comfort. The leather strap doesn't rotate freely. I added tubes. Much better!

The clasp is mounted with a spring bar, too.

Make sure you have your spring bar tool ready for use !

Thought I'd share my patina progress. Was going for an antiqued look, kinda like the brass doorknob in a 1920's speakeasy...shiny where worn and dark on the less handled surfaces...

Hi Folks,

Seems KW Factory have some problems with the BBB model, my Td told me some factory issues are responsible for delays.

Any information about that situation ?:hypnotized:

Great look!!!

Hows the crown tho? Can't seem to get the dark patina to stay on the underside of my Zenith Pilot's crown as its rubbing against my skin and thus its shiny T__T

I have waited almost a week on my QC for the KW I want it now. I already have the ZF so will make a comparison when I get the kW. :)
