Won't it smell like olive oil?

Instead of smelly olive oil, you should use Neatsfoot oil compound, it's the best to soften leather, and no smell ;)

That's what I'm using too. Be aware, however, that some leather sole oils (e.g. mink oil) have some smell as well. I'm not accustomed with Neatfoots though, maybe that is without odor.

Ive actually pretty much ruined this strap. Ive so over completely saturated it with olive oil that its almost black lol. And smelly, and greasy. Oil bath is a no no.

Will be getting a new strap this week, dark tan color. 22 mm lug width i think.

Mink oil will waterproof your leather and by extension soften it, Neatsfoot oil is used by leather workers to soften heavy leather like the ones used for horse riding.

On my V6 lugs are 22,8mm
A large 22mm strap will be OK...or a small 24mm!

Posted this in the WTB thread but also makes sense to mention here:

If anyone is willing to sell their new/like new/excellent rep fabric (crappy) NATO strap, I'm looking for one. If you have one, please ping me. Thanks!

had the same wobbly bezel many on this thread had mentioned. popped it off to have a look in an attempt to reseat it, but am having hell getting the bezel to pop back on. any tips?

So, did any of you try and get the bezel off yet? I tried yesterday because I think there is some gunk is under it, but couldn't pop it off.

I used a thin filletting knife that I use for fish;) one round and it popped right off. I did however put some tape around for safety as kkgkkg is saying

How much play did you all have in your bezels? I just received my watch today and although I am satisfied with it's appearance (can't figure it our if the dial is too light compared to gen or simply spot on it is due to lighting), I am kinda disappointed in the wobbly bezel :/ I am not the mos skilled man when it comes to fixing things so how difficult it is to have it reseated, or any modders in CONUS who would be able to help me with that? I feel like my bezel moves a lot more to the direction that it is not supposed to after I start rotating it. Do all BBB models come with this issue?

My QC pics for latest v3?? According to KW case material (bronze) is different from previous caseset, now similar to gen. Leather strap has been updated too. There are some other changes too but I've forgot what else. Oh, this comes with the newly replicated thicker nato strap.

Ohhhh, nice. I see they raised the price back up though. New nato is much nicer (still nothing compared to gen though). Hard to justify selling my V1/gen strap for this...but the aluminum bronze is appealing.
