Got mine today. Obervations:

1) DHL is hella fast. From Puretime to NYC in under 3 days
2) Watch is beautiful, and I cant wait to test out the brass darkener I ordered
3) Its a bit big on a 7" wrist for my taste, but it just comes across as a bit sportier and less formal (fine for me). For casual purposes, its perfect and Im glad I went with this over a PAM382 or similar
4) Nylon strap is really nice, however I am a bit concerned how durable it is...

I just got mine today, the bezel looks a tad more red than brown. On certain angles it is like rootbeer color, other times it reminds me of the red black baby bezel.

Also, anyone else seeing their nato strap fraying? This is after putting this on twice.

Hi

Just got my v6f from Tony.
Watch seems great but nato strap quality is sh!t !

The default patina is ok for me.

Cheers

And a wristshot (17.5cm) !

Seems huge on the pic but it's ok though.

Cheers

Does any one have a side by side of the rep vs gen? I've seen a side pictures but I haven't seen the gen and rep side by side showing the bezel color.
Thanks!

Man, I wonder if the factories (or TDs) will upgrade these nato straps...Im worried this thing will fall apart within a month.

Put some clear nail varnish round the inside of the holes on the nato. Should help stop em fraying

My other half already thinks I'm weird putting my bracelets in baby oil, she'd think I'd lost my marbles if she found me covering one of my watches in ketchup

Hi

And now up to the ketchup experience !!!
Was too lazy to remove the strap, but still had good results .
Had to put it 3 times 10 minutes in ketchup to get good results though.

Cheers

So, aside from the crap Nato strap quality...I have another big bone to pick with this watch...now I want more! My new revised to-get list includes:

1) TC 16610LV
2) Black Bay Heritage (Red)
3) Snowflake (if I can find/make one)

This hobby/habit is sucking me dry, leaving me with no friends, and trail of visits to RWI on my work computer

eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/soul-provider71

Listed as 22mm but when it came though it was just over - so good fit for the 23mm lugs.

Getting a custom horween strap from another seller in 23/20mm and getting a Arunas bronze buckle. Strap junkie indeed.

Can't see me wearing it much on the NATO. It feels flimsy and is actually a little tight fitting it to the lugs. Anyone removed the bars and worn it RAF style instead?

Decided to give it some ketchup spa treatment to reset the patina.

Fitted on one of my 23mm leather with deployment clasp.

Just a question. Even after 45min I don't seem to be able to rid of 95% of the patina. Has anyone tried resting patina with a stronger acid like Coca-Cola?

BTW I think I looks nice on a 24mm leather NATO though.
