Got a watch 5 days ago (which unfortunately died two days later but that’s a different story). Had to pay tariff fees. Nothing absurd (25 bucks) but Steve refunded me the money as did soon as I showed him a receipt of the payment and once the watch was delivered.

How did you pay the Tartifs did you have to go to the post office to pay ?

You’re paying the carrier directly. In my case it was UPS. they are the brokerage company and the delivery. I also paid with credit card. No option for PayPal was available to me.

Probably like any other package. It’ll either get tossed and you’ll get a letter in the mail by the gov or it’ll be accepted. Let’s hope it’s the second one.

Well it just cleared customs in Chicago. I wonder how the tariff process will go. Not even sure who the domestic carrier is. It’s been DHL in the past

If it's been accepted by customs and haven't got a message yet to pay tariffs, you should be okay.

No tariffs required. I don't understand why, but im okay with it!

I'd imagine quite a few of these reps will be able to skirt through customs, no? As is they already were before. I'm possibly incredibly wrong though lol.

I just received my order from Trusty. From time my order was shipped to the day my watches arrived at my door was only 15 days, and NO tariff charged to me. The port of entry and customs for the order was LA.

Probably because it was declared as “stuff” or “parts” or “toys” with a very low value, and the proportionally very low tariff was paid by the TD at shipping (and the package was not inspected because inspecting every item is impossible, and without the de minimis exception, so much has to run through the system that maybe fewer watches will end up getting caught).

Andiot, for example, is clear tariffs are included in the price and shipping, and they will be responsible for seizures.
