Selling counterfeit watches and keeping them in your possesion is illegal in this country. What can i do when the government comes to my home and takes the watches? That is the chance we all take in this game. Your $500 dollar loss is nothing when it equates to my $20000 dollar loss of inventory and another $15000 USD attorney fees. Your watch is gone and will always be gone. Now after shelling out $35000 K on this hobby (all in losses) your watch is pretty small in the whole equation! Again it is the chance we all take.

Holy S h i t ! (Thanks sub4me)
I have been chewing on a leather strap like a Cowboy with a gunshot wound throughout this whole thing. Which is unusual for me. I have not said anything about this primarily because I never had any dealings with TWP. But also because, we live in a world where no one wants to be accountable for their actions. Discussing the topic of personal responsibility tends to cause friction. People often attack you rather than deal with the problem which is them. And to be quite honest, the whole thing was stupid. I couldn't believe that he was getting the sympathy he was. No one twisted his arm and made him pop pills, drink or mess around on his wife. They were all personal choices.
Bigrahizzle. I can't believe he is actually comparing the 35k that he CHOSE to spend on the hobby to your $500 watch. that you sent him because he believed you he CHOSE not to make good on. You sent him money in good faith. He had a responsibility to follow through at that point and failed, His personal issues have no place in the equation. As I have said before. If you can't take care of business, then you need to stop all commerce until you can.
The big thing as HU said, is that some people had been screwed by him. But they were afraid to say anything because he was a respected dealer and they didn't want to take the flaming. But if they had then maybe some people could have been spared. As you know, I have no problem calling a dealer or anyone else out. And God knows I have taken some flaming. We are a community and we need to look out for each other. People make a choice to buy from a dealer based on what they read. And they would still be buying from him had this issue never been brought to light. If something needs to be said then it should be no matter what dealer it is. Remember, they have YOUR money. The burden of proof is on them NOT you. Now I'm not saying you should go on a rampage and attack people. You don't need to. I don't like seeing threads spin out of control like they do. Just lay it out as matter of factly as you can. All you have to do is supply the rope. If they're a good person, there will be resolution. If they're a bad person, they will show their true colors rather quickly.
Sadly, this one is history and the chances of complete and or any resolution are pretty slim. His site is still up but fortunayely, we all know about the problem now. I think the evidence is strong enough to warrant a waning not to purchase from him. So if anyone decides to buy from him at this point and gets screwed, there is no one to blame.
