I was able to get ahold of the high res images from the press resources. Here's the absolute highest res images to be found of the markers on the Black vs the LHD.

There are two details of note. Fun!

  1. The LHD marker definitely has more rounded corners
  2. the LHD marker has a thicker, less precise border, especially on the interior of the marker

Super Reps Temple
The sharp corners markers thing and the bouncy lumes is the reason that prevends LHD to be a Super Reps. Blue and Black Pelagos (GENS) have sharp corners on the markers when LHD has rounded ones.

This is a well known issue (or I thought so ?) that I've been talking about for a few months now.

LHD markers are creamy and rounded and the lumes are dug inside. No replica has it right today and LHD will not be a Super Rep for as long as it's not fixed.

Does Anybody know if the dial and bezel is matte and "painted" as the gen? Sometimes it looks like just
smooth plastic.

I also looking for side by side pictures gen vs black pegasus v6f v2 or v3. Cant find any!! How could it be a super rep without ANY side by side pictures??

I found this and it really looks like the font is too thick. I know gen here is a twoliner but i think gen 5 liner got same font thickness.View attachment 82353

For anyone that has the black pelagos, please check out my qc pic and how the opening is wider to the right of the triangle at 12 than it is on the left. Other markers look good so I think i want to accept it. Curious how tiny these openings are in person and if i will even be able to notice uneven gap. These pics are very zoomed in and even taken under angle so do not want to exaggerate. Also the shield on the caseback is cut wrong but it may be the plastic over it, i asked for clarification but thats not a big deal.

I've recently purchased one and as far as I can tell in real life you can't spot that gap. If all the other markers look good (they do to me), take the watch. Is is a V6 or ZF?

Yeah thats what I thought, thanks!
Just wanted reassurance and did accept the watch actually.
This is V6F factory.

You can't go wrong with this one. I have the ZF version but I think they're both great. It's really a super rep!

I have recieved a KW Pelagos 5 Liner. I don't know....but it seems for me, that the colour of the numbers in Insert are not quite white like markers on the dial. Colours of insert is more cream. Perhaps lume meone colour ist different. Can someone confirm, that this is normal? Or is this buggy? And how is insert lume of the Gen?
I will post some pictures of it:

Have you a picture in good lights, too? :) Are the colours the same by Gen?

Yes, in my opinion the numbers and markers on my bezel are creamy and on dial they are white. Unfortunately i don't have qc pics. I bought this watch from a member. If you own the please tell me, are the numbers and markers in bezel a little bit creamy, too?

Sorry I dont have one, and I really dont see the problem when I look at them on my phone. Might be different between matte ans shiny white? Matte on bezel and the hour markers is more shiny white. But I cant see any cream color.

Here's a high resolution press photo of the Pelagos Black under studio lighting conditions. Let this be your reference. There will be slight differences under significantly different lighting conditions. Slight.

And the Pelagos logo is not aligned with the 12 marker. Sigh..

Nice picture!!

Is the v6f v3 that textured on the dial? Is it textured at all?
