i think someone here asked, do the markers always seem off to you? I have the same question, especially in the black dial shots.Just in the image above, the black dial one, the 7 and 8 markers look off, or is it just me and my mind playing tricks?lol.
I really want to grab the blue pelagos in a month or so and if I have it in my head that markers are off, it`ll haunt me.
Other than that, nothing else about this watch creates any doubt in my head. it is masterfully done!
Any input guys, about the markers? If there is a risk of misaligned markers, i`ll just get a black bay red.

I received mine about 2 weeks ago and it’s almost perfect. All markers are straight except the 12 which is slightly to the left but still straight. Lume and build quality is amazing. This is the best rep I’ve had yet. All other reps have had qc issues, dust under dial, lume partially missing, fingerprints on hands, pearl not centred etc etc, always something but this watch is immaculate, a true super rep. Mine is V6F V3. Couldn’t be happier. Having said that though, check your QC pics thoroughly and review the markers. The first one my TD got for me was pretty wonky, second one almost perfect and I accepted.

Thanks for your reply mate. Do you think the black bay is a better overall rep than the pelagos? I like both, but if the black bay is better then I'm inclined to get it. Both look so nice and are so well made. The misaligned marker, if in my head, will bother me for sure.

Both have their tells. I'd say the Black Bay is the harder of the two to tell apart from gen.

Missing out on a great watch by avoiding the Pelagos though. The QC images you see are highly misrepresentative of the dimensions, the markers and recesses are very, very small in comparison.

Besides the more sunken datewheel ,what are the other tells on the V6 Pelagos?

Hmm I guess you may be right. The QC pics are really putting me off. It's like focusing my attention on the 12 and 7, 8 markers and their alignment.
Is there a date wheel tell also? Didn't catch that. Can someone elaborate so I can understand better?

What sunken datewheel? The V6F V3 is a super rep and nwbig so not sure what you mean. The wonky dial markers are the only issue which can usually be picked up in QC pics. Keep in mind also, the Black Bay is only 40mm whereas the Pelagos is 42mm. For me, the Pelagos is a bit on the small side, a Black Bay would be much too small.

thanks for the feedback mate. due to smaller wrists, I tend to be okay with 40 to 42mm pieces. I really badly want the pelagos, but I feel that the black bay is a better replicated. The forums dont seem to help me decide on a pelagos ZF or V6F...so what do you think? ZF or V6F for a pelagos? I think on QC pics all I have to look out for is the wonky markers if im unlucky....also, one last issue, is there any spacing issue of the markers on the pelagos anymore?
Cheers

Check it out to help decide between Black Bay and Pelagos, for me the fact that the Black Bay is not a super rep was one of the deciders (aside from the fact that its too small for me anyway), I still think the black bay is beautiful though. I read so many posts on ZF vs V6F and overall, the consensus seems to be that ZF is almost there but v^f is better. I believe that ZF has been taken off the super rep list. Also, the TD that I bought from gave me the rubber strap free, apparently V6F includes this still but ZF does not. If you check out my thread on the Pelagos, the markers are very close to being spot on.

V6F is the better rep for the Pelagos. ZF has bezel font issues.

Blackbay is also on the superrep list - the red shield version from ZF anyway.

As stated above, the Black Bay has less obvious tells, but neither have anything that will be called out instantly. Hence their superrep status... Pelagos is a better everyday watch, I find the black bay a bit too blingy for every day wear, but for me at least it's a great weekend and evening watch.

In my opinion together not super Rep not like new super Reps match Gen 99%...

Both are great watches! For Pelagos I would recommend V6F.
I‘ve also got a BB blue with rose logo from ZF. It‘s a great rep, too. Really hard to spot the fake!
And BB is not 40mm but 41mm. The case is not small. It‘s very tall. Wears much much bigger than for example a 5 digit 40mm Sub!
Pelagos has got similar dimensions like BB but the bezel is 42mm and a tad higher. Plus additional crownguards.

the bb Looks a bit "old-fashioned" to me, Nevertheless i really like the watch but the pelagos Looks more modern in my opinion.

Those crooked markers at 9 and 12 don‘t go in any way. Horrible.
My blue V6F does not have this issue. And it has got thinner bezel font.

But let me talk about bezel font: Tudor itself used different bezel font thickness. It depends on the color and if it is an eta powered 2-liner or the new 5-liner with inhouse movement. So I don‘t understand why ZF has been taken off the „super rep list“. V6F is still on the list? No complaints about the wrong blue color? It‘s too bright compared to gen.

And I have got an advice for dirty and smudgy bezel lume. Clean it carefully with a lint free cloth and a small amount of isopropyl alcohol. But don‘t work too much on it because isopropyl solves the lume!
After this process you will receive a clean white and bright matte lume color.

And there is another issue with all Pelagos reps made by V6F: They‘ve got AR on the outside of the crystal. After short usage you will notice microswirls on this AR surface. So I polished this AR away. Gen does not have AR the outside, too. Only on the inside of the crystal. But this is an easy mod. I will have to check if V6F has got AR on the underside, too. If not this will be my next mod.

Get a V6F and chances are markers will be fine. Most crooked markers won't even be visible on the wrist. Unless it's terribly crooked, you shouldn't worry.
