Been talking back and fourth with Lucy, and she is standing firm that her friend is telling her it is V2. Here are some QCs: what do you guys think?

It´s really one of my favourite and the pictures posted are from the V1, just can´t make out the "differences" to the V2 - and it doesn´t matter, the watch is fantastic, nobody I know has the gen and what I like about it is the Gen not being an over-the-top $10k watch neither a $100 Cheapie and than I love those vintage looks with the gold and red. Will see what the V2-hype is about when I get the blue one As for gen the only I would consider is the Tudor Heritage Blue Chrono as that one hasn´t been repped.Dexter - QC's from another member's purchase.

To be honest that pearl is still not close to the gen, the crown engraving looks thinner now and the V1 crown was more accurate as it had a thicker darker engraving?
Don't get me wrong either the V1 or V1.5 are very good reps. I just dont think this is the V2 just quite yet? Anyone else know?

I got a v2 for a friend and I examined it. I had a v1, but no longer do. From my memory, these are the things I noticed...
The sharp inside lug edges were softened up and better overall fitment of the bracelet to the case. If you examine closely, you can see they slightly sanded down the edges.
Bezel tightness was improved and with nice clicks. The pearl is slightly different then my v1. My v1 had a filled in lume pearl and this v2 has a more recessed lume like the gen does, but the pearl holder shape is still not like gen.
Noticed the crown height when unscrewed was slightly lower to more gen height. The crown engraving does look thinner and not so engraved, but the v1 was too engraved and thicker then gen.
Now for the crystal...I can't be for sure, but I think its been changed. I remember the v1 had a slight different shape along the edge, the v2 is more rounded edge and lower profile.

I think that gen crown has some wear to it which has made it more rounded. From the gen photos I have seen online the V1 crown is bolder and more accurate than the V1.5 or V2 as some are calling it.

From my qc as of today:
maybe its the angle, but that pearl looks different. got more qc pics? also the hands are whiter then the dial markers.

Yeah, looks to be the case in all of them. I'm expecting QC atm but this may be a deal breaker for me (id rather live with the V1s mismatching gold)
Has anyone got real world/daylight pics of this V2 with mismatched lume they could kindly post?

pearl looks completely different then ever other BB pearl i've seen. Those are pretty white hands. The hour hand looks crooked, could just be the pics. The 6 o'clock link fitment is riding higher on one side than the other. I never comment on QC pics usually but this one just irks me, something is off with this piece.

I still own V1 so, in few days, it will be possible to directly compare both versions.
