Hello all!

I've bought my first rep from a TD and it was shipped on 18th May from China via triangle shipping. Tracking says that the parcel is in Amsterdam since 23rd May.

Is it normal that there are no updates for almost 10 days? Or should I get a second tracking number from Amsterdam to final destination country (despite the fact that on tracking they indicate the correct final destination country)?

probably I'm just too impatient :)

It's normal, track number is not seriously. Don't worry

Have you tried putting the tracking code through: internationalparceltracking.com? This website can convert foreign tracking codes into the 3S code used by the Dutch postal service (postnl). Usually if it's stuck in customs it will be displayed here. Furthermore, it will tell you if you need to pay tax and how much..

Thanks!
On post.nl it shows that parcel is in transit to final destination country and on internationalparceltracking.com ir says: "Parcel not found

Sorry, we were unable to find your parcel details. Please double-check the tracking number and try again or contact the sender of your parcel for more information"

Ah ok, then it's probably still stuck at customs. Usually takes a while for them to update the status. Not sure why but yeah, give it a few more days.

I would like to tell you that postNL is not considered triangular shipping. PostNL just happen to have offices in China/HK so they just offer their services there.

postNL just process every parcel through netherlands through their hubs, same way as DHL does process their parcels through Leipzig Germany, for Europe.

This is just an alternative to ChinaPost. Who is that TD who offers such a service as "triangular"?

Thank you for your explanation. I was thinking about that...
TD was PureTime.

I had a similar case with another TD. I paid for triangle shipping and it was shipped directly via Yun Express. Maybe this is common practice now?

Same here, Puretime shipped my package with PostNL from China directly to The Netherlands. Package has been stuck at customs for a week now.
Kinda suck that I pay for safer triangle shipping and get direct (unsafe) shipping instead.

Would love an explanation from @puretime about this!

It's not common practice and I would be furious is that happened to me

I pay 60 dollars for triangle shipping. It's damn expensive and my watches take forever to show but at least I am relaxed about customs risk and that is why I accept to pay so much for a 200 grams watch worth 300 euros to get to my house safely

If you get only one tracking number all the way from China to your EU place that's direct shipping and it may be big issues for the customer if stuff gets seized

Even got a nice letter from PostNL that my 3 IWC watches have been "investigated" and found to be "not genuine".
