Seamaster 300 Master Coaxial Caseback Ink Fading

I remember reading somewhere in here that others were experiencing the same fading of ink on the caseback of the Seamaster Master coaxial (see photo below). It's becoming a real tell when someone looks at my really cool open caseback and says, "Wow, shouldn't you go back to Omega so they can replace or fix that fading?"

Anyone have any suggestions that a relatively lay-watchsmith can do? Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Model paint. Tiny model brushes. Magnifying eye wear. There are some tutorials you can find on the forum about how to do this proper. Some even use wax from crayons. Good luck!

Thanks for all the good suggestions. I might try the crayon wax first, as it seems to be the easiest. Thanks again!

I used a black sharpie. Nail polish remover to remove excess, worked a treat, also did it on a dssd :)

Is this issue exclusive to the 300 Master-Coaxial? I've had my CrPO since June, and it still looks perfect.

Doing the same here, I'm just letting it wear off.

the gen probably got the same problem. Look at Rolex's DSSD, Seadweller, same issue.

Yeah no, gen really doesn't have that problem. Unless maybe due to very old age, but since mine is only a year old it still looks like the day it left the box.

Haven't had mine for too long but it shows no signs of fading.
