Good to hear that the bezel issue will be fixed by the factory. Noob has been rather disappointing lately..

It makes me wonder , why he keeps bringing up the long wait list. That's irrelevant to the issues at hand.

the complete setup of the deal is not how to do serious business.
No words about prepayments in his first post, you get QC and then you receive payment...lol... he knew that the watches would look like shit, creating a mega hype will make it easy for him to sell.
What is troubling is the nonchalant attitude of take it or leave it. I actually thought that what happened with dbot was unfair. IIRC all he was commentating on was the price point but did not say he didn't or want to buy one. Toro then kicks him off the list with this same attitude and then as we know dbot goes awol and starts the drama.
I didn't understand why a TD would lash out like that, it seemed very defensive. I think Guru is right, all along there was a hype created on a product that we don't know how long ago was completed with flaws. It's easy to to post teaser pics and "progress" pics and gauge customer reaction and build hype. I'm no conspiracy theorist but it seems that someone knew about the flaws, promised to make changes knowing that it was not going to happen and so there was this take it or move on attitude.
Lucky for members, we are not push overs and now that the realization has been made about these flaws in comparison to the price point and other models Toro is backing off the nonchalant approach and trying to fix what should have never happened.
Don't get me wrong I have in the past ordered from him and would again. But this leaves room for pondering. We (rep fora) are not canal st. customers and factories have seen the progress of higher expectations due to a higher price start point. Yet they still try to push the boundaries and see how much they can get away with. How many versions can be made and have now resorted to withholding after sale support in the form of parts.
This new extortion mechanism should be taken seriously, I for one do not see justified to buy another whole watch because I cannot get individual parts. Currently I am experiencing it with the Hublot Diver and it really makes me hesitant to support the hobby.

I've slept 3 hours all weekend. Not due to this watch though :facepalm:
I'm battling an episode of diverticulitis. For those that have this, know how painful it can be.

Man i try to imagine what if i were Toro - honestly ... if i had received this batch i wouldn´t even have the balls to send those QC´s .... i would have send it back to factory instantly.
Maybe because of what you reject he can offer to other person also reject....the next....he has a long list.
He is not saying what is rejected once goes back to factory.
So i see his posting more as "hush children"
Lesson learned is that Toro QC is nothing more then get what customer order, and take 3 or 4 pics.

I also have a noob product with a part no good from him, first he told me no problem will sent part with my next purchase. So a few months later i order new watch and ask for that part. Now all of a sudden he can not get that part from noob. Have to sent my part back to China then noob will replace it?
Could be so but say that in the first place to me as customer.
Well he told me today it was shipped. I'm expecting a tracking number today. If not I will email him again and ask him not to ship.
