I just thought I'd share a picture I took of the BK Explorer II. If all goes well it will soon get a superlume to the dial/hands, BK's date wheel, rehaut engraving removed, mvt. regulated, new seals and WP'd and a gen crystal, crown and tube. But to be honost, it look pretty good the way it is.........

I have a Noob Explorer 2 with the white face and a gen dial. The Explorers are really cool watches for sure. Mines at Vacs getting the hands re-lumed and the movement regulated right now. Where'd you find a BK Exp2?

Yours fit a gen dial ?? Hmmmmmmm..well, not that I think mine needs one but that's food for thought. To be honost, I had/have an opportunity to land a gen creal colored dial for this one but if I recall, BK said a gen dial won't fit this one. Does yours have the engraved rehaut and M serial number 448188 ?? I think there were slight variations in the Noob cases.

BK knows it all when it comes to his watches. Mine has the engraved rehaut which I kept. The cream dial is a pretty odd variation to this watch. I like the white myself. The super luminova lume is torch bright too. Yours looks good as is with that dial. I mainly wanted the correct white face and black markers on mine and happened to find a gen dial, and a Noob case.

Right you are...when BK said he didn't think mine would take a gen dial, my search for one pretty much stopped. I saw a cream dialed Exp.II listed somewhere for about 9k and thought it looked nice...different but very nice. You're right though...superlume this dial and hands and that's good enough for me. This crystal is decent but I've seen what a gen crystal does...and to me it's WELL worth the money. I just fell in love with the BK Noob Exp.II from the moment I slapped one on. I've been through "many" super nice reps...but this time THIS one isn't ever going anywhere.

Good question. Perhaps the rehaut is a tad bit different on the bottom from the inside ??? That would be a good question for BK....or perhaps sneed12: sneed seems to really know these Explorer II's .

You had the opportunity to snag a gen CREAM dial??? that's insane. what was the price?

Just some info... the cream Explorer II's were a manufacturing defect and now they fetch for 3 times as much.

After those mods... you will have an extremely accurate EXP II. congrats!

Some Noob Exp II's won't take the gen dial because it's too small--if you try to put it in the case, it falls through the rehaut. The rep dial is bigger.

Hey sneed.12, is your white dial "Super E2" finished yet? I saw some pic.s you posted a few weeks back. It looked like the watch was on it's way to being an amazing piece. Please share some photos with us when your finished building it.
