I'm with ya, Brad, although I've just gotten an 036 from Ruby that'll soon be off to vaccum for the cannon pin fix, and the superlume/installation of the more correct 036 dial from Joshua. :wink:

Hmm? I thought the one that Ruby carries is the same like Josh`s...

Edit: I just had another look on ruby`s 036 and I think its the same like mine from Josh.
I don`t understand why you have a cannon pin issue, there is no issue on mine and on ruby`s too I think...

My fault, no cannon pin issue on that watch (I'm sending my 210 to vaccum at the same time as the 036 for SL and cannon pin ).

Joshua's 036 dial *appears* to not suffer from the same smaller font "Marina Militare" print as Ruby's. I will verify that with him before I order the replacement dial, but that's what it looks like from the pictures. My watch from Ruby has the "Marina Militare" print that is definitely and obviously smaller than the "Luminor Panerai" printing at the bottom of the dial.

So, just SL'ing the new dial and installing into the watch.

i am waiting on the 111h, 177h and the 082. i e-mailed him 2 days ago for a update but no responce as of yet.

MAN - Dsn is busy :shock: :!: I've got something else coming, but I assume he hasn't been able to ship yet as I have no track yet ; andI had waited to order one of these new beauts until I see the 082 dial etc.

I've learned that dial is very important on these replica watches.

Since i published my dial layouts in this board,i have received many positive feedbacks from members.

I am getting some samples of my dials prototype now.These are only prototypes thus quality of lume
and printing may not be perfect.Most importanlty i need to show you the fonts of logos etc.

Re: 055 brown dial

some members suggested that
:-My first layout logo font not bold enough
:-the length of the logo not long enough

pls see the red rectangle.

i have taken the advice to amke the font a litle bolder and longer

and that is the first prototype.

pls note that base color is dark brown.

The Luminor txt looks good to me, Panerai is still off, needs to be slightly wider and bolder, relative position to 5 & 7 o'clock stick dial markers is still not there. It also apears to be a 1/2 font size smaller than Luminor txt.
I'm currently in contact with DSN re this dial via emails, should be all good at the end.

The dial colour's looking good to me - though I'm more obsessed about the 082, as in my mind it's trickier.

@ mogg - dunno whether the case back, ie 'Vespucci', is a 'go' this time 'round - can always be done later. I just want a great dial + case on the 082!

Yup, 082 and 055 are on my wishlist...already got 'close to perfect' 036 so that one's off my radar (for now, anyway, he, he).

055 Ti Base in brown is just calling my name at the moment, I'm just trying to help sort the dial basics right before production run, while we still can.
We all know how DSN dials have been plagued by his dial-maker inability to produce better quality dial text in the past, so why not giving it a proper go this time... 8)

Why is there no love for the 056? I can't drum up any suport for a destro Ti model . I've seen threads stating that the current 036 is as close to the gen as any rep, so how will davidsen improve it? The 177 and 172 dials can be taken from Davidsens current offerings. My votes go to the 082 and 056 as they are very different from what is currently avialible. just my 2 cents after a six pack.
