Looking at the gen the "Officine Panerai" appears to be a different font. Is it just me?

Looking at the gen the "Officine Panerai" appears to be a different font. Is it just me?

the font is the same, but its bigger, way bigger. Plus its engraved more deeply into the Ti than the rep. Ontop of that the water isn't 100%, but who cares. hahaha

I wana see the finished product

edit: ohh, and there are no serial #'s engraved into it. either

Great work Davidsen. That blue dial should be amazing. I've wanted a rep of that watch from a long while back but never thought it would be produced.

Time to make some room in one of the watch boxes.

Agreed a base is needed. A 176 would be great.

As DSN is making both generational case sets, one could easily pick it as a PAM116 or a 055...

.

Do you know if he will have a h series cg for the 177h and the older cg for the 36/82 etc ?

just it's impressive how close the PAM082 came out. This model has been a long time coming.

Agreed. I've been waiting but was unsure if it would ever be done. From the preliminary shots the dial texture looks good.

Something that Panerai does that seems difficult, if not impossible, to replicate is the way the sausage numbers are flush with the dial. I think this is what people refer to when they say "painted dials." Davidsen seems to have to carve the dials for the numbers and then fill in the lume. To me, this is a dead give-away. Not necessarily bad, but just one difference between the $5000+ genuine and the rep.

The PAM055 is in the mix as well and will be one of the understated best. Brown dial and nothing more, next to a TI dial, excellent. As DSN is making both generational case sets, one could easily pick it as a PAM116 or a 055...

to some china web photoalbum.But i can sen only clickable pics only/NOt the standard pics url inks for
