With a black glossy dial it might look ok! Overall craftsmanship on top end REPs are better imho.reading your review made me understand why I did not buy the gold PRX, especially with your pics. Also, this week, I saw it in person in a department store...

that's the thing. Top end reps have ruined my fun of 400-900 range gen brands. The reps are just better finished. Even the homages brand recognition put aside
I would buy a San Martin, a Sugess or VSF/Clean/BTF than a Seiko, even a Tissot, today.
The Brew I bought just because I liked the design, but the finish of the bracelet is way below San Martin. Watch head is good though

Where do you buys straps ?In thinking of modding the Tissot to a onyx dial, no logo, something like this :
what kind of strap?
personally, I buy custom length handmade straps from top sellers on Etsy and try to find a branded clasp on AliX, eBay or even used gen if I can find it for a reasonable price
