With a black glossy dial it might look ok! Overall craftsmanship on top end REPs are better imho.reading your review made me understand why I did not buy the gold PRX, especially with your pics. Also, this week, I saw it in person in a department store...
This watch looks like it's trying too hard
that's the thing. Top end reps have ruined my fun of 400-900 range gen brands. The reps are just better finished. Even the homages brand recognition put asideWith a black glossy dial it might look ok! Overall craftsmanship on top end REPs are better imho.
Where do you buys straps ?In thinking of modding the Tissot to a onyx dial, no logo, something like this :

I am pretty sure that the steel version feels better than the gold plated oneA Week On The Wrist: The Tissot PRX Powermatic 80
It has '70s heritage, '80s feel, and wears like twice (maybe even three times) its price.www.hodinkee.com
Those concept dial are coolI am pretty sure that the steel version feels better than the gold plated one
With a rock solid Powermatic 80.111/C07.111, self-winding, base ETA 2824-2 movement and a cool case It’s a great entry level watch. Unsure if it’s a great fit for the REP owner that “has everything“Enjoying the run tissot is taking with the prx.
