OK. We have a live one. I asked him if he knew his watch was fake and he responded:

This is not a fake watch.

WTF? OK. There's no way those are all shill bids. So somebody actually thinks that watch has some value???

Yes - despite the visible rust on the 'Tourbillon'.

Technically, he's correct - it's not a fake watch - it's real.

Looks great - the day wheel has been written with a Bic biro, and the date wheel is so sunken you could slide your finger between it and the dial - & bidding is up to $700 . . .

Well,
technically speaking it is a real watch, just not a real Rolex.
So I guess he's got that going for him. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I think we're misjudging the seller - he seems honest to me :

Interesting watch - I've yet to see a model like this - do you have any sort of paper work, receipts etc that would authenticate it ?

I do not it was given to me, it was in salt water for sometime, which explains the rusting. Without the glass cover also. But I do. It have any papers or receipts the watch i believe is to be authentic.

Thanks.

Not sure why he would keep his watches in salt water though - something to do with bacon maybe.?
