Hint: In bright sun there was an element that was obnoxiously prominent. So much so that it became an eye drawing eyesore to the detriment of even liking the piece. We all have our pet peeves, I know I know.

Brushed center cannon pinion. Or AR coated crystal. I'm going with pinion. It should have been black from the start on these.

It is the pinion but it came polished hence the eyesore sparkle in bright sun. I epoxied a tiny matte black plastic cap to it and now I love it!

@KJ2020 Nice. You're right, sometimes it is the little things. I also had the PAM960 and that shiny piece always did seem out of place.
