Got my first eve rollie.. over 2 decades swimming in this pool and I've never gotten a rollie but I have now!!!

It's a VSF so I'm part of the vsf club




..and I am 1,000% satisfied.. more so. This is one of those realities exceeded expectations totally glad to be here and part of this club

thank you.. honestly speaking though.. can't believe I've waited this long to get a rolex but it was definitely worth the wait.. thank goodness i ran into the guy who was rich enough to scratch his gold itch and let this baby go for a loss (I know how much the going rate is for gold plated watches so $475 was a no-brainer)

..and now I have a project watch as well.. applied 3 coats of Graphene coating to it last night and will do another round tonight and tomorrow

it's a weird kick i'm on these days.. gold fever perhaps.

The 2R vsf are the very best vsf ever put out. The 2R watches were made of the very finest parts. There was only a few hundred made and those went to the top dealers. Most all are in collections of the most discriminate collectors around the world. It’s said the parts were so expensive vsf lost money on them. If you were fortunate enough to get one you don’t want to get rid of it.

Where did you find this dribble about the 2R VSF?. All they are is the previous batch before the Q66 were introduced last spring. Don't know the exact numbers for that batch but it would be more then a few hundred and probably in the many many thousands. There is nothing different from the 2R to the Q66 model as they have the same case, dial, DW, hands, bracelet and movement.

The 2R Sub are not in the most discriminate collectors around the world as they are not a collectors item but just a normal VSF Sub. The parts on the watch are the same as before, were not more expensive then previous models and VSF didn't lose money producing the watch. And if you are an owner of the 2R watch like me, wear it and if you want sell it do so as there is nothing special about it. @Zeta7 stop spreading this BS on here as there is no good that can come of it.

Some people think the K2 (think that is what the serial started with) pre raid Sub was the best VSF made and some members are really fond of those when they show up on M2M. @TESLA760 can you help just in case I missed anything as you have been here longer then me and probably can add a few things I missed.

comparing the cases Q66 vs 2R, I have to say that (on my ones) especially the top of the lugs is much better done on the Q66. The Q66 surface/brush is even and the light reflection clearly better - for me a great improvement. Other components I see on par between both versions.

It was brand new with all the plastic when purchased off of a member here nine months ago but they came off right away.

You asked it on a VSF fanpage.
But the VSF is the way to go.
Good crystal and a cloned 3235 movement, instead of a 3135 that looks like a 3235.
Clean is good too, but I prefer the VSF.

It’s a personal preference one choose the vsf over clean or the other way.

I agree, total personal preference, but from what I understand, there are clearly things that one does better than the other which could be highlighted. (ie: crystal, cg, etc.)

Did you just receive a new one or have you had it for a while? I believe @asusundevils1971 just referred to those as being thought very highly of. You might have yourself a very good watch. However I can’t speak to them myself. Maybe he’ll see this and chime in.

I have one on order and I’ve been told it’s the latest batch. Thanks for the heads up.
