I am glad your now enjoying your watch. Thank you for your business, always appreciated
Looks gen, love this watch from VSFSo in love with this. Really love it as a daily:
Can you post serial number easier way IMO. People here can tell it's early batch or last batch if it VSF serial.Hello.
I am about to pick up a preowned sub no date (rep)
from my local dealer.
He said that its CF (clean) but i have spent some time comparing the dial and movement from some of threads here and from what i can see it might be actually a VSF.
What do you guys think?
Thanks in advance

but never seen 6SH.
Any news on the updated VSF no-date with the correct movement? Holding off my buy until the ghost date position is gone.
They have said that ever since the VS3235 was announced. We got tired of waiting so @dogwood and I have you coveredAre they releasing a new version? I though that the fix was an unofficial one, something you could you do to fix the phantom date.
Under no lighting condition did I see the emerald green shade (the color of the rolex box) of the rep bezel. The color is either bright green or dark green, but not emeraldTry it in indoor supermarket lights. I know the ceramic definitely shines in retail settings and sports arenas.
Looks like I will need to get a service. My quick set date function doesn’t work anymore. Hopefully, a service will remedy this.Yes, after the service, the crown does feel smoother when screwing it in an out, the keyless works feel more positive when selecting the positions and less stiff and the date changes perfectly at midnight.
I think a vs3235 usually costs around $300 for a full service. Kinda depends on where you live — US, UK, and EU tend to be more expensive, Asia tends to be a bit less.Looks like I will need to get a service. My quick set date function doesn’t work anymore. Hopefully, a service will remedy this.
Out of curiosity, what kind of prices are you guys paying for a service?
Thanks for the perspective. I live in Canada. good to know. It’s practically half the cost of the actual watch to service. lolI think a vs3235 usually costs around $300 for a full service. Kinda depends on where you live — US, UK, and EU tend to be more expensive, Asia tends to be a bit less.
Yup. There are two schools of thought on servicing reps. One: service as soon as it arrives so that it will last as long as possible. Two: wait for something to go wrong and then fix or replace (but fixing can be hard if spare parts aren’t available). Thanks for the perspective. I live in Canada. good to know.
