Thanks for this amazing thread. I just received my sub last week and I love it. The only gripe I have is that the bezel is unusually tight and is fairly hard to turn. I have pretty strong fingers so this is not an exaggeration. The dealer has offered to repair/replace if I send it back, but I'm wondering if this is worth the trouble, or if it will even result in a better feel? Thanks for your input.

Most likely the hytrel ring got caught on the crystal retaining ring when they pressed on the bezel at the factory. If you're a little handy, it's a fairly easy fix. Just pop off the bezel, unkink the hytrel ring (or replace with a new one...available on ebay or aliexpress) and re-press on. See here for a post on loose VSF bezels: https://forum.replica-watch.info/th...mariner-bezel-hytrel-ring-long-term.10548939/. Your issue is a little different, but process and concepts are the same.

I only made one worse attempting to fix it. I’ve screwed a couple of them up now trying to fix them. One of them a 37mm Yacht that I can’t find a replacement ring for.

The comparison pics say it all: VSF stock or GEN,

IMO, no need for frakening any part really, rehaut is well executed despite difference with gen, it really does not matter.
Let's lay back for 2 minutes and admit that it's as good as it gets for a chinese replica, couldn't be more satisfied by what VSF offers.
If I want to be greedy I could only ask for a true balance wheel bridge on the VS movements, that would be awesome !

This tool would help if strong fingers don’t work well

guys i was reading something about extra polishing of the rehaut at a watchmaker. Since I was about to take a VSF 126610ln, do you think it would help on that type of rehaut?
Polishing the VSF rehaut is something that's not too noticeable on the wrist, nor will anyone other than you notice... but it does add to the overall look.

Mate, would the same hytrel ring work on CF 116610 as well?

You can just use fishline as a replacement bro.

I've never tried that hytrel ring (ie from ebay seller linked in my post) on a CF 116610, but it is specifically made for the 116610...so in theory it should be a very good fit and may not need any of the mods discussed in my post to get it perfect.
