A curiosity, I am interested in purchasing a clean 116520. I read that there is currently the V3. What does it consist of and how does it change from v2? Thanks to everyone

subdials are made a bit slimmer than the v2. It's a good watch if you get one you won't be disappointed

Yes without a doubt it is really nice.
I just wanted to learn how to distinguish a v3 from a v2/v1 so as not to be fooled by QC. Thank you very much for the explanation

I read something about the shape of the lugs, they are flat on top, correct?
To make a franken would be better to choose V1, V2 or V3?

So a V3 with gen dial, hands and xtal would be great option?
What about how the endlink fit in the case?

I’m actually waiting for my 116500 (black dial) from VSF, I will take some photos and post it there as soon as I get it 👌

v3 with a deep/vsv/xing bezel would be best bang for buck
I read that you can polish the stock bezel and the result doesn't seem bad.

beautiful, my indecision is between 116520 clean and 116500 VSF black dial. but the steel gives me more of a vintage impression and I'm leaning towards that

Yes I was looking for a 116520 because of the bezel … ceramic is beautiful when it’s well done, most of the time the main problem is the platinum filling … compare to Gen looks more grey than whitish.
SpongeBob bezel use to be a good option but since he doesn’t answer messages (or after many months) there’s no solution except Gen bezel or a good luck on the one you receive.
I know for 116610 LN/LV, the platinum filing is well worked. They use clean bezel but the filling is probably done by themself, I remember I’ve reed something and see an add of VSF talking about the quality of platinum filling… that’s why I’m trying the VSF 116500, expecting a nice bezel 😅. Dial and hands seems to be the same as CF. Bracelet is ARF, case is maybe VSF (my serial is ending by LV66 on QC pics, so the same as CF ? So CF case too ?)
Quality of the crystal is better from VSF vs CF, so I’m expecting too a better stock crystal (but will probably go to a Gen one soon).

Let’s check all points when I receive it !
My plan is just to install Gen Crystal and Gen crown on it 👌.

(One of my QC pic, already accepted )

yeah you can polish it and it comes up well, the aftermarket bezels have a thicker font so bit closer to gen, also the shape is bit more gen like

i have a white dial 126500 as well as the white dial 116250, the 520 feels more classic but both are good to have. I'd say the 126500 feels bit better made. but I like the 520 better i think
