Hi guys, I also am interested in purchasing a Clean 116520 V3 black dial. Adding deep xtal + xing bezel is good option?

I just got a BTF 116500 Panda, I have trouble finding the etched crown. Tried it with different flash lights and angle. I dug up a thread on reddit saying the 4130/1165 BT doesn't have it.

Can anyone confirm please?

I have to disagree. I polished my clean bezel and it still looked nowhere near as good as when I upgrade to a xing bezel. The numbers are bigger and engraved deeper.

Use a Dremel. As a fan of Xing products in general, I have to say the is bezel was an L for me. But it’s your money :)

Dremel ? I don't know exactly what it is but I assume it's a job for expert hands...
By the way I understand that with 116520 Clean bezel is not necessary to swap. And what about crystal? Deep is a good upgrade or in your opinion last crystal Clean are enough good?

CF bezels were great V1 and V2. V3 engravings are not great anymore, too thin, not deep enough. You can polish it (I did it a few times) and results are good enough to use, but not excellent.

I used a Dremel and polishing machine. For Dremel, I use a piece of Cape Cod mounted on the Dremel bit (fixed with a tight rubber band) to reach best results. This makes the CF V3 bezel numbers look deeper and creates the „3D-effect“, similar to many gen bezels. But again, not 100% accurate, but close enough.

XING has better engravings.

IMO
1. Gen
2. XING or CF V1/V2. Me personally I like the CF V1/2 a little more than XING for a reason I don’t know.. just the whole appearance.
3. CF V3

See thread here, post #2

However, the bezels on the very latest CF batches I saw here on RWI it seems the engraving were a little bit better again, but not sure if it’s en par with CF V1/2.

why do you thnk the xing was an L?
Basically if you are lazy or not good with basic dremel/polishing then get the Xing. Otherwise save yourself 80 bucks and polish it yourself.

For people like aHero or members who own multiple 116520s, 3 xing bezels is like 240 bucks, it isn't worth it.

i think the shape of the stock cf v3 is a bit off as well, like it's too steep and the deep is a bit flatter?

Thanks a lot! I think for me better solution is to use xing bezel. I don't understand why the bezel is worse in the new V3 version.
Since I wouldn't be able to replace the bezel myself, a convenient solution for me would be to order it with the xing already replaced. I believe there is some TD that can do this. Or is it safer to buy separately?
About crystal, in your opinion V3 Clean is good?
