What a pity the the lume is gone from 9. [MENTION=36888]NCRich[/MENTION] found a color to match but it's not well applied in my opinion. I was okay to do it for free :console:

-Raffles Gilt Dial (White Lume)
-Tiger Concept Mercedes Hands (Gold)
-Geckota Nylon Strap

I've gone for the "NOS" kinda look, have another 6538 incoming that I think I will age lightly.

This strap is great quality and for the low price of £10... I found these guys on eBay they're a U.K. Based company and have great reasonably priced straps with the fastest free shipping you can imagine...

Got bored waiting for my insert, so I messed around with what I had. Pure fantasy bezel, "Bakelite-inspired." Also waiting for my gilt hands set. But I'm impatient so am wearing it now, he he. Silix case, Raffles insert, @Bart Cordell-inspired gilt dial I've been working on for months, with sucky lume job. It is what it is, and the learning continues.

This is how it started from a gentleman member in Hungary:


With the leather strap:


And rivet bracelet:


Then I attempted a Bart Cordell true-gilt dial, but I obviously need to learn how to lume:



And it went like this:

Did you epoxy the insert? I've a feeling that is what that guy does on ebay with the GMT ones. I was going to try that in my copious spare time :lol:
