yepp, way too expensive considering all the flaws it has. I wonder how the watchs "feels" though, if it feels genuine or fake. Lets the waiting begin untill a review comes up!

Yes these new super reps have jumped in price. Those asian 7750 movements are getting pretty expensive for a rep

we say we want:

sapphire
AR
high quality straps that smell like vanilla :p
quality control and the ability to return watches that aren't 100%
sellers to be responsible for all watches lost in customs
basically we want perfection!

and

We want to continue to pay the prices we were paying three years ago.

Forget all of the other costs I eluded to... These are better watches, the hbb just has a "geniune" look and finish to it. I didn't believe the hype until I received my own.

Am I buying this watch??? prolly not at 488 +shipping... At least not until the reviews start rolling in.

I think we (and the factory) are gonna find out that $225 is the sweet spot for reps... and they will make the best product they can for that money. I for one hope that doesn't happen.

He doesn't state anything about the lume. :?
Looks pretty sharp imo, but so expensive...

Now where are our IWC experts?

Does the price include a free "SUCKER" tattoo for your forehead? Come on, even with a swiss movement in it, it is still a rep and we all know that reps fall apart. Pins fall out, screws come loose, hour markers, crowns and bezels fall off. On the bright side, for all your hard earned dollars you get the joys of no warranty, worries about lume, questionable waterproofing and don't forget to add another 200 bucks in servicing to get all the dirt out of the works because it was assembled in a back alley. But hey, different strokes for different folks, its not my money that will get spent on this.
FYI, I'm ranting on the builders that price these - NOT Angus.

I think the smaller hour markers at noon and six are gonna be consistently crooked and that will bug the shat out of me.

The one angus has pictured looks like it may be close to the one posted at the beginning of the thread that started on rwg almost 6 months ago.

once more - I don't get you guys!!! You are willing to pay $350+ or more for a Rolex Sub from MBW that is far from perfect and you expect to get a way more difficult to replicate watch such as the HBB or the IWC for less than that and keep complaining about tiny little details. If it is not close enough for you go buy the gen!

I think this looks amazing

Im tempted with the asian movement, dont think i can justify spending close to £400 for a rep :?

Who else is going to buy this and what movement?

I personally think this rep looks pretty amazing. It's a lot of money for a rep, but I'm willing to suspend judgement until there's a review of this thing, and until we see some lume shots. I'm not really expecting superlume, but I hope it's better than the standard lume.

Between this and the 3717, I have a lot of saving to do.

I don't think it's to much for rep like that, but personaly i think 3717 is way better than this one.

Damn, pricey.

I was hoping to get one of these, but, at that price, it's unlikely. :(

Looks like a Pugwash pictorial of one of these won't be appearing on a site near you any time soon.

Well, Joshua has it for $388 if anyone finds that a slightly more reasonable price.

But that is before shipping. So it probably ends up the same...

Looks like interest fizzles down quickly on this watch because of the price... :?

what's up with all those (over) price...

2 years ago, there was 2 price.. $150 for ETA and $250 for 7750.. was simple enough :p
