Looks quite good actually. I think the dial looked orange/yellow in some photos because it was shot under harsh light.

honestly, how many of you have seen the gen color in real life? I do and imho, from what I remember, the rep seems very good also considering this color varies much more then others in different light conditions

as Amaiel said, i think a lot of people never seen the gen in real life (me either ) so only my rep eyes judge the rep color !

Do not know whether is close to gen dial color or not, but blue dial is more wearable by hundreds miles.

well at least Andrew did actually take me up and post natural light pics of the watch. very cool of him to jump on the thread. can't explain Ryan's or Angus's watches. bad lighting? too much direct light from light box?

so i'm about to pull the trigger whats the consensus....buy or pass based on trusty's.

i will say the natural light looks like the approx. same color, super close to hodinkee photos. the direct light is different but i don't see that anyone is taking a pic like that.

It's a safe assumption that they all have the same watch right? I just have a hard time pulling the trigger on Intime (my usual dealer) given the crime against horology bright yellow dial photos.
