I told him to look out for crooked number 4 numerals (seems like the common issue), day alignment, date alignment, if the day and dates flip smoothly, gold plating on sides of center link, cyclops (only because my first watch had dirt under it), also look out for black specs on the gold plating (if you see any, ask them if it's dirt and to wipe the area. If it isn't dirt, it's most likely bad plating) an finally look out for any dirt on the dial or residue, mine has some on number 4 but no ones gonna notice it and only I know about it
¯\_(?)_/¯ the case would attract more attention than the hour markers anyways.
Oh and make sure you look out for dial offset. It'll most likely be offsetted but if you can't deal with it then you should bring it up. Mine is offset upwards and a little to the left; that's probably due to replacing the movement once the waterproofing was done.
Best of luck with your order
