@ryantunna I'm sorry to hear that happened with your day wheel but I've had that happen in a previous watch and it can be fixed.

I do agree the bracelet does feel light and flimsy. It's prob the lightest watch I own. My TW best day date has a heavier bracelet then this one.

Rolexx wow! Thanks for answering my question so throughly haha. I liked the 41. I don't know why it's like Rolex is scared of getting bigger sizes. I have a nice DD2 rep on today that I love.

Youre welcome bud. I've had a few 41mm and like them too, except they can't seem to get the fluted bezels right and it always bothers me. The 40mm seems to be a bit better with the bezels.

Regarding evryone else's comments about weight, DDs have always been much lighter than their gen counterparts for obvious reasons, this isn't anything new. You can't expect platinum or gold weight on a stainless steel watch, it's just not possible guys.

I agree it will never be gen weight but I'm talking from rep weight prospective.

I've had a few day dates and day date iis over the years and this one has the lightest bracelet of them all.

If your used to the weight of a sub or even the 23j Daytona this bracelet is much lighter and more flimsy

Damn why factories do this. The weight of the v7 Sub C /Noob YM etc are all decent. Some that does have it mind putting it on a small scale to see how much it actually weighs?

Just got it today, it's gorgeous. I'm keeping it in the wrapping until my WristClean gets delivered so I can clean all of the factory dust or whatever the watchmaker who waterproofed it missed.

Everything is spot on minus the tiny dial offset but it isn't really noticeable and also can't be recognized on wrist.

Day and dates flip over nicely and overall quality is superb. No missing gold plating either. I'm so pleased with this watch :')

There is a white mark (looks like it was glue or something) on the number 4 marker but it doesn't bother me because it's white and can't be seen unless it's in the right angle of light. If anything I'll get a modder to fix it if I end up needing to do something to it but I'm pretty happy as is ¯\_(?)_/¯

Quick question, you claim quality is superb yet another fella just said the bracelet feels flimsy and light. How does yours feel? I believe there were two other comments earlier saying the quality is great and then someone else said it's flimsy again. Which is it? What if there are multiple batches? Oh jesus...

Elaborating on your concern now that I go back to it. I don't believe there's different batches; it's more like a play of luck. I told my TD what to look out for and he definitely knew after I rejected the first watch.

What did you tell your TD to look out for specifically? Now I regret not saying anything and just accepting the first watch they showed me!

I told him to look out for crooked number 4 numerals (seems like the common issue), day alignment, date alignment, if the day and dates flip smoothly, gold plating on sides of center link, cyclops (only because my first watch had dirt under it), also look out for black specs on the gold plating (if you see any, ask them if it's dirt and to wipe the area. If it isn't dirt, it's most likely bad plating) an finally look out for any dirt on the dial or residue, mine has some on number 4 but no ones gonna notice it and only I know about it
¯\_(?)_/¯ the case would attract more attention than the hour markers anyways.

Oh and make sure you look out for dial offset. It'll most likely be offsetted but if you can't deal with it then you should bring it up. Mine is offset upwards and a little to the left; that's probably due to replacing the movement once the waterproofing was done.

Best of luck with your order :)

[[Btw, not trying to state that I'm being gaudy with the watch I'm just trying to justify that the residue won't be noticed as much]]
