I am a big panerai fan. I sometimes think the 44mm pams are a bit small for my build. I really liked the PAM 292j ceramic you suggested ALE, but I was wondering, if other than the subs, there is a 47mm reps just as good as the 292 or 029 and without a caseback. Would you be able to point me in the right direction? Also, are there any pams that sport the super dome glass, other than the 127 and 217?

If there's one thing I've learnt in many many hours of reading, comparing and wearing, it's that AR is NOT one of PAM's strong points - Gen or Rep.

I really want to thank Ale and the monk for making sense to me when it comes to choosing a watch, i am a newbie in the rep world and i have got really hooked on Pam´s, something i never thought growing up in a family selling watches for a living. I always liked sporty big watches with lots of extra details, but the sleekness and style of the Pam´s have really found its way in to my heart lately. These timepieces are timeless (funny) LOL... And they will last forever when it comes to style and apperance.

+ 1 except the family watch business part.

I could not "get" PAMs, so I bought a highly touted 243M v2 from an old forum friend. It was so pristine I couldn't wear it lol.

Then I saw an "old school" flaw-ridden great timekeeper 111 on a made-to-fit bracelet for sale, cheap, and bought it as a beater. As I started wearing it, I *got* it! I couldn't stop looking at it, changing its straps, wiping it off, winding it 2-3 times a day, it became my pet lol.
