But then Panerai made the Due in 38mm![]()
But then Panerai made the Due in 38mm![]()
I think I’m going to end up having a few of these Otto giorni made. I like all the color combos I’ve seen. How does the 45mm case wear? I usually wear 47mm Pam’s and I’m debating if I should have this made in 47 as well or stick to the proper 45 size.
And for that reason I recently picked up a mint 2022 preowned 662 at an unbelievable price and couldn’t be happier. If only I had checked with Belkin before hand, he can pretty much make the same exact color dial!Yes, they did.
But for many Paneristi the music stopped with the demise of the 3-digit watches and the 44mm watches. Everything else is just a pathetic attempt to survive by catering to the metro-sexual crowd, which is as pathetic as the fake claim of an in-house movement.
Panerais are just not the flavor of the year anymore, and the same applies to Brequet. Yes, they can make a 36mm Panerai, the same way Cartier can make an XXL-sized Santos in 48 x 55mm size, but it doesn't mean it will be a sales success.
Taste changes; and we'll aways cherish the vintage watches, but that don't help selling new ones. A true dilemma, for sure.
45mm rad wears like the 42mm submersible in my opinion. Measured my 1350 lug to lug next to 42mm sub and seem to be about the same.I think I’m going to end up having a few of these Otto giorni made. Second this! I feel like 45 rad might be perfect for meFantastic!!
If you own some 47mm luminors, would you be able to post a side by side? I’ve never tried a 45 rad before.
I’ll take some pics tomorrow to compare the size of 42 sub, 44 sub, 44 1950 case, 47mm sub, 47mm 1940, and 47mm 1950 cases. Gotta wait til I’m home alone so my wife doesn’t get pissed about all the watches.Second this! I feel like 45 rad might be perfect for me
Debating to get the same one made again, but in 44. Some days 47 feels a bit too big, but others it feels perfect.
Definitely a possibility! Belkin can only do the wire lug radiomirs currently. Otherwise I would have asked him to make a 690 style for me!!Here’s alternative…47mm without the CG…Radiomir?
