Where I need to be.
Hi thanks I agree. I was wondering between the color difference between Gen 15202 and Gen 15450, seems their blue colors are different, wasn't about gen vs rep

Btw do you recommend apsf or zf (stock only) nowadays? Thank you
There is no APSF 15202 so only ZF.
For the 15450 I’ll go with APSF.

What's the current market price to build a 15202 with K2121, gen dial and custom hands and custom DW? Feel free to PM if uncomfortable to answer in a public forum, putting feelers out for a new build and wanted to get a rough price guide.

1. What is the current best versions of 16202/15202?

2. How does the blue dial color compare between the 39mm ones to the 15450 (37mm)? I tried looking at picture but everyone has different lighting/camera settings, hard to tell..

3. I have 6.75 inch wrist but span is like 52-53mm only (straight ruler, not tapered span). Not sure if 37mm ot 39mm is the way to go. Although I am looking for a sportier look not a dress look, also have big arms (lifter), just small wrist genetics. So I think 39mm one would work?
2. I own a gen blue 15450 dial and based on pics I found the latest ZF dial convincing color wise.

3. I think 15202/16202 would fit your arm and wrist better.

Is there a factory big or small that makes the AP15703 with 2824 movement?
I want one for the ease of maintenance and maybe at some point get a gen ETA2824 in it.
The ZF has switched to SA3120 and JF is closed from what i have been told

I did some more research, do you think a 6.8 inch wrist with 53mm span could pull off 15400 (41mm)? I don't mind bigger as long as it's not absurdly oversized. My wrists aren't big but I'm a lifter and I have rather big arms. Also I think blue dial will wear smaller

Yes it will. Don’t worry. If not, you can always lift the wrist with the watch continually to build it up to match the arms 🤣

Hi, my wrist span is either 55-56mm. I think you can pull it off, it might just look slightly too big from some angles.

Is there a factory that makes a 1.5 link for the 15202? Struggling to get a good fit otherwise. I've looked at gen, but the prospect of a link that costs more than the rep feels bad.

@speedywombat just curious, what factory & version is that blue 15500?
I have a blue 15500 apsf its really really really good, only issue I had was FedEx literally throwing the box to my house, minute hand came off the stack, I had it fixed and waterproofed. Highly recommend even the weight is near perfect

Not sure if 41mm or 37mm AP (blue dial) would fit me

Not sure if 41mm or 37mm AP (blue dial) would fit me

My wrist circumference is 6.85 inch (17.4cm). My flat span is about 53mm (placing a straight ruler over my wrist and measure where I can see my skin).

I have small wrists but got bigger arms than average I believe. In general I prefer bigger/sporty watches, I mostly just wear muscle fit t shirts, no suits.

However I am not sure if the 41mm Royal Oak would fit me, I know the lug to lug is like 51mm so it might be quite pushing it? But I also understand wrist shots always look bigger.

The pictures above is a "42mm" seiko for reference, it is "42mm" case diameter but it has a gearwheel design, so the actual circle is probably more like 41.

I read dozens of posts on gen forums (like the rolex forum), 37mm looks good on wrist shots but they kinda look small when looking as a third person from a distance?

Any input is appreciate.

Summary: 6.85 wrist, prefer bigger/sporty watch but worried 41mm would be TOO big?
