Does anyone has experience using Vagenari rubber strap on this watch?

Looks great mate. I‘m also in love with my gen silver dial and gen rubber :)

I get still likes for this watch. Yes it was a beauty, and still missing it. I hope they produce this watch with a clone movement and instant date...amazin watch

Where are we at with the 4500v’s? Have factories like ZF revised and sorted the issues? Are they considered NWBIG yet?

No improvements.
Biggest issues are bezel aligment and most of all date alignment.

Is that with ZF? Is there a way to sort those issues out in terms of mods and/or gen part replacement?

Bezel can be realigned.
WIth the date: most have the date shifted inwards. Rotation can be fixed: you need to rotate the movement a bit to realign.

I don't know if the movement will take a gen datewheel.

Can the movement be easily rotated since we have to rotate the movement relative to the dial and not both of them together (presumably the dial is connected to the movement somehow)?

Yes. First open the caseback . The movement is held in place by three screws. You need to loose them a bit and carefully rotate the movement. Then tighten the screws again.

Isn't that going to rotate the dial too as well because the dial is connected to the movement?

Resurrecting and old thread here but wonder if anyone has recent experience with the 8F version: OVERSEAS 4500V SS 8F

I can live with the noted QC issues but is the Miyota 9015 still noisy in this watch? That, to me, could be a deal breaker.
