How come the crystal gasket is soo visible? I don't remember seeing that on my 16613

Recently completed and my first Franken. I spent a year buying the ALL Gen parts except the hands, case and movement. BTW the movement is a Bulova Precisionist w/ zero maintenance and accuracy of +/_ 10 sec per YEAR also sweep seconds hand of 16 beats/sec! smooooth.

Since I sent the oyster out for some TLC, I have it on the Jubilee now. I think it looks incredible. I couldn't decide which pic and or angle was better.
