I bought a brown-coloured insert from CAC to go with this watch too.
I've swapped the pearl to a luminova one since taking this photo.
So now it's a quite modern luminova 16613 but strangely has an open 69 datewheel - because I couldn't resist purchase of it for the same price as a closed datewheel lol.

Before and after..

I just replaced the dial, hands, bezel and crown on my gen 16613.

The dial it had fitted was genuine but it had been refinished, it was flat matt blue with flat gold text. The hands were marked they looked like they had rubbed together at some point.

Before..

I was lucky to find a brand new old stock (NOS) t<25 Tritium dial and hands, and a NOS insert which is a nice dark blue to match the dial..

Transformed!
This new dial is almost black with deep blue and purple hue, no lightning whatsoever. The Tritium markers have turned creamy while in storage they look really amazing, especially the 12 marker.
I fitted a replacement crown too, it’s only a little better than the previous one.

It’s hard to believe that’s the same watch!

Next up, I’ll be sending the bracelet away to be repinned and any gold it needs repaired, and I’ll send the case away to have the worn lugs laser welded and lapped back to how they should be.
