That also looks like the glued on acrylic crystal…? U can use that imo, while I prefer the T21 for a domed look. the original 1016 uses T22.
the only accurate T22 that I know of is from truedome.com or super old stock from Rolex.
T22 service crystals typically have a step edge which is slightly different from the original T22

I will get a new case from raffles sent with sapphire glass and bezel removed,i will order t21 and a bezel from mr 1016 is on its way.
I read raffles has new hands for the 1016,i will get those.
Less body hair inside would be good this time.

you can get this if you are using a 2824.
not sure if raffles will ever get the factory to produce the longer hands and dials for the nh movements.
I have cut the feet for an nh35,so i will have to go with that.

There must be some hands that look nearly right for nh35.
I think pokeman used a nh38,maybe they will be ok.

anyway the hour and minute hands will work with the nh movement BUT! the seconds hand wont, it needs some tool to make it sit on the pinion.

in the meantime you could just sand the edges of the crystal so that it resembles more of a domed crystal. quite easy to do , use a few grades of sandpaper and then some polishing cream aka poly watch or toothpaste and it will give you a new feel to the watchI will get a new case from raffles sent with sapphire glass and bezel removed,i will order t21 and a bezel from mr 1016 is on its way.
