A 2824 won’t work? The 7909 originally uses a Tudor 390 caliber (impossible to find and kind of bad), but it will also accomodate a FEF 380 (the tudor caliber is based on that movement).

Hahah that's actually a good point but there's more hands to mess. Which I see as more practiceyou do that with a chrono first.
you are mental.
That's a very good question and thanks for asking it.Man alive, what do I need to do to get in this club? Haha.

So, SEKSC is an exclusive club for members of this Thread and others on this forum to post a shot of their 1016 in the kitchen on a Sunday evening at 6:00 pm (18:00) GMT or UTC or, even Zulu Time if you're an aviator (or a Sky Dweller)
The application for membership is straightforward and unambiguous; The 1016 watch, in the kitchen at the prescribed hour.
See below for two examples: One would get you in, the other would see your application, sadly, rejected.
The first - Undoubtedly a 1016, definitely a kitchen, some Bratwurst, an induction hob and some very nice flavoured olive oils in the distance there, kitchen tiles, etc: Membership Granted.
The second: Ummm, Some scissors, an orange and a Rolex - but certainly it could be any of a number of models - Datejust, Air-King? and it could have been taken anywhere; utilty room, bathroom, who knows?: Membership Denied.
Hkope that helps - look forward to seeing you Sunday Evening.
As a member in good standing yourself Karbon - that's not very helpful and really, you should be helping others to gain membership.don't listen to that guy. He is a Brit. They are crazy.
The FEF380 caliber uses a 2.1mm stem height and the ETA2824 a 1.8mm stem height. So I'd say, it's a substantial differenceA 2824 won’t work?
And just thinking out loud here - what are we going to do if FEFO comes back on Sunday, and wants to join SEKSC - I mean, he hasn't got a 1016, yet, has he? That's going to be awkward isn't it.
One of us is going to have to say he can't join. Will he ban us?, close down the club?, I mean . . .
Karbon - as the longest member here - you're going to have tell him; No 1016 - no SEKSC . . .until he gets one - then he's staright in.
I will courageously pass to @369mafiaAnd just thinking out loud here - what are we going to do if FEFO comes back on Sunday, and wants to join SEKSC - I mean, he hasn't got a 1016, yet, has he? That's going to be awkward isn't it.

Yeah, you're right - I was just thinking that. He's keeping a low profile.... 369 - over to you . . .I will courageously pass to @369mafia
He is the Doyen

Issue with this one is that @Caboose measured the dial at 31mmJust a heads up regarding a fantasy case for the RWI dial.
Pagani design 36mm case on sale for 50-60 bucks with a domed AR sapphire, bracelet etc. Should be a sub $100 build with a new clasp sand crown.
Oh right you are.Issue with this one is that @Caboose measured the dial at 31mm
