I have the same experience even, got and checked some used 16610s and actually felt worse than my TC in terms of feeling being old and used.. I know that same people are being anal and can spot the difference but I prefer to stay happy with my reps lolol

I wouldn't bother with changing the cristal or insert or in fact any of the components mentioned.

I didn't manage to see any differences.

Also a yuki was out of the question for me even from the beginning. I'm not trying to fool anyone so why bother.

I had a gen crystal with LEC on my V6. There was no difference at all.. maybe tougher..

Impressive review! Beeing new in the rep world (recently bought a v6s from Ryan), my next will be the classic sub I ever wanted since childhood. Please, don´t bash me, but where can I get this TC sub from? Who an where is TC? I´am in Germany (...customs...).

Guys can someone confirm something for me please.

I had a TC V6 and the was a terrible blue tint to the crystal when held at certain angles on sunlight, I compared this to my gen and it was really obvious.

Now, has TC sourced a new crystal for the V7 as I'm struggling to see any blue on the excellent pictures and videos.

I hope he has as in was planning on upgrading to a gen crystal!!??

I felt the same of you...at the beginning at first handling not so satisfied due to weight and feeling BUT after few hours love started...

My cyclops doesn't have any AR coating. So same as gen from that period.

Hi mate it wasn't just the cyclops that had a blue tint on the V6 but the whole of the class had a blue tint to it when held at certain angles.

Is this not the case with your V7?

That's good news i remember a few members saying they had the same blue tint with their V6. Maybe there was a fault with a batch of crystals.

Neither the cristal or the cyclops have AR coating so no blue tint.
