When Frenchies start bickering... The only pertinent thing of your last exchange is Marseille and its ill-famed brig equivalent

He likes to tease me about Marseille and my English. Just kidding There's a long history between Paris and Marseille

Another rollercoaster brig read, unbelievably dodgy from the get go. Glad the refund was actioned and hope that the OP has learnt a solid lesson. Mods keeping us safe yet again!

With regards to leaving a website, simply take your phone/laptop/pc and launch out of your nearest window. That should do it 😆

Switzerland

I learned english in 1987 when I lived for 2 years in USA.
Then came back, and in school in Switzerland we learned with a "British English" Schoolbook. So most things I was talking the teacher corrected me as talking false, cause I talked fluently US English. Funfact: the teacher was a Aussie (also another accent than british english).

What I wanted to say: There are words in the world, that only sound cool when said by Aussies. "FUCKWIT" is 100% Aussie! Instant followed by "CUNT".

Cheers! Or: "Proscht" :ROFLMAO:

I am giving an opinion here, guessing what happened…so don’t @ me 😅

I don’t think that the guy tried to scam. He also has a ebay shop and sells on C24.
I believe that he put a bad german address from another customer by mistake, but with the right name.

However, instead of admitting outright his mistake , he doubled down in bad faith…probably using a frequent tactic. That could work vs ebay or C24, and their lousy customer support (automated and not specialists)…on RWI, you have several experienced human mods, so it does not work as he can be called out immediately

At some point, there has been a PM or a written message from buyer to seller with the address.
Buyer provides it to mods = irrefutable proof
Seller evades all requests to show what address buyer sent him = no case
Gotta say I have fucked up in something close to that, sold an item on eBay, bought postage label, went to post office to print label, didn’t have my glasses with me and printed off previous label, it had already been used, so shouldn’t have scanned, but it did. So my item went to previous buyer.

As soon as I discovered what had happened I told buyer right away, I said will contact previous buyer to sort out, I contacted previous buyer who ghosted me, so I issued a refund to buyer, it stung me for £250, it was the only thing I could do.

I am 59 and I wish I could blame it on that.

The first word in quotes has been extensively used in Ireland for decades. The second word in quotes has only been used extensibility in Ireland for the last few years. Unfortunately it has gained a lot of popularity.
