Stealthy non-alcoholic beer and wine options

I went through something similar where I noticed that my drinking was just becoming this repetitive cycle. It wasn’t until a friend mentioned enjoying mocktails that I started exploring non-alcoholic options. I found some really tasty alternatives that kept the vibe of a night out without feeling like I was missing out.

I also looked into rehab options at one point, and when I did, I found it helpful to jot down all the questions you need to ask a rehab. It really clarified what I wanted. Have you found any specific drinks or brands that you enjoy that help you stay in the moment without feeling pressured?

There's a few draught options available these days for when you're out out!
I think there are way more options than perhaps a few years ago, in the UK at least. Guinness 0% for the win!

Just completed 3 weeks sober, feeling really good about it. I have read 'Alcohol lied to me' and 'This naked mind' by Annie Grace. Currently listening to 'Alcohol Explained 2' by William Porter. Have found it suprisingly easy to abstain.... long may it continue.
My go toos in Oz are Peroni 0.0 and Guniness Zero (excellent) Unfortunately in Oz the options are fairly limited, getting better but from reading this thread nowhere near as plentiful options compared to Europe.
Stay strong if you are on the journey!

Well done, mate.

The upward trajectory of positivity in my life continued noticeably for two solid years after I stopped drinking grog. If you feel good now - wait til you see yourself and feel yourself at the end of a month, then a couple more.

A big one for me was realising how tired I was constantly, was actually the fairly consistent mild to not so mild hangover which had just sort of become a standard part of existence more often than it wasn’t.

I’m a big fan of impossibrew pale ale, expensive but nice and they come in regular sized cans unlike most AF. Also ghost ship pale ale is a good shout, 5 years sober for me and never looked back

Just watched this video and the thread immediately came to mind. Financials and numbers aside, it mainly goes about the methods a new American company that only manufactures non-alc beer has developed to do so instead of just taking the alcohol off normal beer like the main brands, hope you find it interesting!

I definitely think non-alcoholic beer is the future, not just for abstainers but when the occasion warrants not having alcohol. In Australia their definitely needs to be more venues that serve non-alcoholic beers.

I'm going out Friday night to meet up with a couple of friends with my wife, we are going out for an Indian meal and meeting at a local bar first. The Indian sells a very ordinary NA beer but at least it's something, the bar.... nothing, so for an hour before I get to the restaurant I'm going to have to drink either water, orange juice or a lemon, lime and bitters, none of which I want to drink particularly on a social night out. It almost makes me think of drinking a 'low' alcoholic beer... but I won't.
