Trying to decide between blue or silver

In an effort to feed my addiction I have Black, Blue, and White (Silver). Blue gets more wrist time.

I know it's been discussed at several times how to deal with the noisy rotor of the GF SOH II - miyota movement. Nevertheless, I'm sharing what I'm doing about it.

I just left my GF SOH II rep at a well-known watch store in my area (Ottawa, Canada) where about a couple of watchsmiths work. They didn't make a big deal on the fact that it was a rep. They will let me know tomorrow their recommendation for silencing the rotor.

Glad you found someone to work with. Looking forward to hearing what they tell you. None of mine are noisy or I just can't hear it.

So Iast Friday I went to see the watchsmiths at the store to chat about my GF SOH II . First, they confirmed the movement is indeed a miyota movement (as advertised by TDs ) so it's not a chinese movement. Secondly, they acknowledged that the miyota movement can be noisy but it is just the way it is. The rotor cranks the spring in only one direction and is free to spin on the other.

The two recommended to not do anything on the rotor. The watch works perfectly and they said applying grease on the bearings could alter the function of the rotor and they didn't want to take that risk. They said if I didn't like the noise, they could simply remove the rotor which would make the watch fully manual. I didn't want that as I can live the noise.. it's not that bad after all and I love the watch!

I like both, infact I am considering the panda option too..

It's a beautiful watch the blue one. I been trying to add a blue dial and this just fits that spot quite nicely. Along with the royal Oak blue offcourse.

I have attached some recent shots for you to consider the blue.

I went to AD over the weekend and man ,it's scary close.

Is that the GF mesh? Looks brilliant.

I've been following this thread for a while now. I really want the blue dial with the mesh bracelet (which it seems is the popular choice) and I am willing to wait however long for it. However, this thread has become a little unwieldy and there seem to be a variety of versions - Where can this be ordered from?

Don’t look for Trusted Dealer websites via Google. Only go to TD’s here on RWI.

GF makes the best AB2010. For my GF watch, I bought an AN Factory Deployment and a Staib mesh bracelet. There is a lot of threads on this topic in the Breitling section. Read and use the search feature. Sometimes using Google you will find the item on RWi faster.

GF factory has been raided by chinese authorities therefore it won't be able to produce any new piece for a long time, you'll be able to find only what has been produced until now if some TDs have held stock, or M2M

No, I think the mesh bracelet completed the look for this watch so guess I missed out on this one unless I find a used.

From Torrobravos told me that every watches from GF are available, only need to wait a few days because the factory is in hollydays ?!
