SOH II from GF is out!!

Went to AD today to check out the SOh2, and guys let me tell you, this has to be considered for nwbig.

The bezel clicks, Color, dial and even the pearl haha feel fit and finesse was indistinguishable to my eyes.

I obviously couldn't take mine in to compare but gave it a good look and returned home with gen in my memory bank .

I checked out both black and blue version on mesh and GF has done a great job here.

Even the GF bracelet is great, deployment clasp feels the same as gen. Overall both feel flimsy if you are used to 6 digit rollies.....

I could post a picture but I'm not sure what good that'd do...this is the one I have. It's a great watch it's just that when the bezel is turned it gives a very unpleasant feel and sound (and I've never turned the bezel on the gen to know what it feels like for comparison purposes).

Just received my blue dial GF SOH II. Such a beautiful piece!

My bezel is clicking properly. Nothing bad to say on the watch except confirming the noisy rotor. Will try to get that fixed with a local watchsmith.

Now I need to get a mesh for this baby!

Sorry but I just don't see it. To me they look identical. Maybe a thousandth of a shade different in color? Not worth buying in gen IMO

There's no sunburst effect (on my black one) and this is its biggest flaw, the minor one being the mention "chronographe" instead of "chronometer" on the rotor!. It is otherwise an awesome watch, both on the mesh or rubber.

OM factory now comes with a black sunburst dial and a fixed rotor engraving (chronometer). No mesh bracelet though, and no idea how it is quality wise.

A2836 instead of Miyota, and 13mm thick, which is odd, knowing that the miyota is thinner than the ETA and that the gen is 14,5mm

Put the OM dial and rotor on the GF version, and you're good to go

I like both, infact I am considering the panda option too..

It's a beautiful watch the blue one. I been trying to add a blue dial and this just fits that spot quite nicely. Along with the royal Oak blue offcourse.

I have attached some recent shots for you to consider the blue.
