Some folks want to have the newest thing NOW. And, say, you make $10,000 per day, every day, and want one of them new Snoopy watches, what's $1,000 for getting one today?
Since I make only $100 per day, I rather wait 'til I can buy one for much less than retail.

Also I am pretty sure that Swatch did that starvation marketing stunt again to get in the news
