It does not look big on your wrist. Good catch!
I know most will agree it looks to big, but I feel very comfortable with it on my 6.3' wrist. Lots of compliments from one week of wearing it.

BCE on about a 7 1/2" wrist

Skagen Titanium (leather strap on this one. I found the metal straps don't work because my wrist is so narrow that it doesn't contour as well and leaves gaps)

The 42mm fits a small wrist much better I think. Less "hey, look at me!" and more "I've got good taste, but I don't feel the need to draw your attention to it."

Well, I originally posted this watch back in 2013; but since then I have done some work to it. Further, it looks like the picture I posted back then is no longer working.

Just saw the link. BTW, why are you not looking at the Hfac or JF versions instead? As far as I know, Hfac is pretty good (but you might have an issue with the straps) and JF is not bad either (except for the second hand yellow circle) and you can easily get the XS strap for JF version.
